Leads managed solutions product strategy and development for retirement products. Oversees product vision, roadmap execution, innovation, lifecycle operations, profitability, competitive positioning, performance metrics, and customer satisfaction. Lead execution of the wealth management product pipeline and shape the long-term product vision and roadmap. Develop product proposals, conduct market and customer research, manage product priorities, coordinate cross-functional design and testing, and create go-to-market strategies. The role also includes hiring, mentoring, and managing product strategy and business management professionals across managed accounts, brokerage, trust services, and third-party solutions.

Reviews and researches customer needs, including beneficiary and account matters, to determine appropriate resolutions. Collaborates with legal, payment operations, IT, and other departments; documents cases according to policy; prepares reports on account or transaction errors; and recommends process improvements. The role requires customer service or case management experience, strong organization, empathy, professionalism, and the ability to handle sensitive situations.

Provide legal counsel on technology products, data use, third-party relationships, and strategic transactions. Draft and negotiate SaaS, cloud, software, data licensing, AI, implementation, and professional services agreements. Advise on intellectual property, cybersecurity, privacy, liability, and technology dependencies; support M&A and sourcing initiatives; and develop contracting playbooks and processes.

Lead design and execution of testing for regulatory processes and internal controls over broker-dealer activities. Identify control gaps, assess regulatory risk, present findings and recommendations, and support cross-functional implementation and communication of policies, procedures, and oversight practices to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Supports TIAA’s Lifetime Income product suite by eliciting and documenting requirements, analyzing data, creating process flows and impact analyses, and developing stakeholder-ready materials. Partners with product, delivery, and business teams to guide initiatives from discovery through delivery. The role also supports test scenario development, user acceptance testing, requirements traceability, prioritization, and data-driven product recommendations.

Leads business-unit continuous improvement initiatives from research and assessment through implementation. Conducts process analyses, identifies operational enhancements, manages complex workstreams, applies Lean and change management methods, and measures outcomes through metrics. Partners with cross-functional teams, presents recommendations to senior leadership, supports transitions, and coaches junior professionals. The role also requires executive-ready presentations, data visualization, and collaboration with IT on requirements and prioritization.

Owns the end-to-end roadmap, requirements, launch readiness, and continuous improvement of TIAA’s retail annuity and lifetime income product capabilities. Translates product strategy into business requirements and technology features for the OIPA platform, coordinates cross-functional stakeholders, ensures regulatory and operational readiness, manages risks and controls, and serves as the subject matter expert for annuitization products and processes.

Prepares journal entries, reconciliations, financial statements, accounting schedules, and monthly and quarterly close processes. Maintains general ledger accounts and verifies invoices, payments, and other financial records. Conducts accounting research on new standards and regulatory requirements, supports loan accounting and subsidiary consolidations, and contributes to quarterly reporting. Requires at least two years of accounting experience, with NetSuite, Salesforce, Excel, consolidation, loan accounting, and accounting research experience preferred.
