The Senior Consultant will support CDBG-DR engagements, ensuring compliance with regulations, designing disaster recovery programs, and developing policies in a consulting role.

Lead architecture and execution of an enterprise AI platform on Azure: define multi-year roadmap, model lifecycle and evaluation standards, drive multi-LLM orchestration, enforce governance and compliance, build monitoring/observability and cost-optimization, manage identity and security controls, and enable firmwide adoption and executive reporting across Tax, Audit, Advisory, and Outsourcing.

Provide tax controversy support including IRS examinations and appeals, penalty abatement and collection matters, tax research and memoranda, account correspondence, and assistance with training and thought leadership.

The Senior Consultant will support clients in grants management by overseeing compliance, advising on funding requests, and developing grant applications, while maintaining relationships with governmental and nonprofit entities.

Provide federal income tax research and analysis for partnerships, S and C corporations; support M&A tax structuring, internal restructurings, and due diligence; draft memos, firm alerts, and training materials; mentor and advance within the National Tax Office.

Lead national tax research and analysis on federal income tax issues including accounting methods, partnerships and LLCs; support M&A and internal restructurings; draft memos, firm-wide alerts, and trainings.

Manage IRS examinations, appeals, collection matters, and penalty/relief requests; perform federal tax research and memos; correspond with IRS, mentor staff, and contribute to training and thought leadership.

Lead long-term ownership of an enterprise business capability platform: define vision and roadmap, own end-to-end processes and supporting technologies, prioritize product backlog, drive agile delivery, manage governance/funding, oversee vendor relationships, measure KPIs, ensure risk and compliance, and lead cross-functional teams to realize business value and continuous improvement.

Lead and supervise FEMA-related consulting engagements supporting state/local disaster recovery programs. Ensure FEMA and 2 CFR 200 compliance, manage financial and accounting activities, expedite disaster closeouts, support business development, and guide team growth and quality of client deliverables. May involve travel and extended hours.

The Consulting Manager will oversee team performance, ensure compliance with CDBG-DR regulations, support clients with disaster recovery programs, and engage in business development within the Government Services Practice.
