Build and operate Dave’s technology governance program covering cyber risk, IT controls, change and incident management, business continuity, policies, and audit readiness. Own control inventories, risk registers, exceptions, assurance programs, and remediation accountability across SOX ITGC, PCI, SOC 2, and related frameworks. Partner with Security, IT, Engineering, Data, Internal Audit, Legal, and external assessors to establish practical controls, escalate material risks, and improve governance through automation and AI while maintaining appropriate oversight.

Lead backend TypeScript development and maintain services used by ~5M users. Contribute to full-stack features, code reviews, architecture discussions, mentor engineers, and collaborate with PM/design to build React-based web and mobile experiences.

Own Dave’s organic search and AI discovery strategy, including onsite content, offsite authority, answer-engine visibility, reporting, experimentation, and compliance. Partner with product, martech, analytics, brand, partnerships, and compliance teams while shaping the company’s emerging AEO strategy.

Own marketing vendor, contract, agency, contractor, creator, asset, audit, and workflow operations. Manage vendor onboarding and compliance, coordinate contracts and partnerships, maintain digital asset repositories, fulfill audit requests, and improve project management systems. The role also pilots AI-assisted workflows to reduce repetitive administrative work and uses operational data to prioritize improvements across a fast-moving, virtual-first Marketing organization.

Lead large-scale, cross-functional technical programs across product, engineering, operations, data, risk, and compliance. Define roadmaps, coordinate multiple squads and partners, drive system migrations and automation, manage vendors and financial partners, strengthen Agile and CI/CD practices, and communicate program health to senior leadership. Mentor TPMs and improve delivery discipline to increase scalability, reliability, and speed of member-facing financial products.

Lead the design, implementation, and operation of production data pipelines and platform capabilities. Build integrations across APIs, files, CDC, events, cloud services, and internal systems. Improve Snowflake, dbt, and Airflow or Cloud Composer workloads for reliability, scalability, performance, and cost. Establish data modeling, testing, quality, observability, recovery, and orchestration standards. Provide architectural leadership, mentor engineers, document practices, and clarify technical and business trade-offs across teams.

Leads legal strategy for consumer financial products and regulatory matters across banking, lending, payments, subscriptions, and emerging fintech products. Advises product, risk, compliance, and executive teams; oversees licensing, regulatory monitoring, exams, audits, bank partnerships, and outside counsel. Manages and develops senior legal professionals while translating complex legal requirements into practical business decisions.

Own the strategy, roadmap, and execution of Dave’s promotions and engagement products. Lead ML-driven personalization, experimentation, promotion targeting, app engagement surfaces, and retention initiatives. Partner closely with Engineering, Data Science, Marketing, Operations, Growth, and senior leadership to deliver measurable outcomes. The role requires quantitative rigor, product judgment, technical fluency, and experience building engagement, retention, or loyalty programs in high-volume B2C technology environments.

Lead paid media and user acquisition strategy for new financial product launches. Own channel evaluation, campaign testing, budget allocation, growth forecasting, creative testing, optimization, scaling, and martech readiness. Partner with Product, Finance, Analytics, Marketing, Engineering, and Martech teams to build profitable acquisition engines, establish tracking and dashboards, and improve CAC, LTV, ROI, and unit economics across multiple products.
