Manage the full enterprise sales cycle for Coder’s AI development infrastructure platform, including prospecting, pipeline generation, technical demonstrations, evaluations, deal shaping, and contract closing. Build trusted relationships with Fortune 500 engineering organizations and collaborate with sales engineers, technical stakeholders, and decision-makers. Exceed quota and pipeline goals while supporting customer relationships through up to 15% travel.

Owns sales compensation design, quota and territory modeling, commission administration, forecasting, accruals, audit support, and payout accuracy across the go-to-market organization. Partners with Sales, Finance, Accounting, Payroll, Engineering, and IT to build and improve an internal commission platform. The role also manages plan communications, disputes, reporting, documentation, and business requirements for compensation tooling.

Manage deal desk operations across Sales, Legal, Finance, and Accounting. Enforce discount governance, approval frameworks, contract standards, and pricing integrity while supporting complex deal structures. Oversee DocuSign order forms, quote-to-cash workflows, system alignment, revenue recognition requirements, and process improvements as the company transitions to outcome-based pricing.

Supports weekly and semi-monthly payroll processing, including employee changes, deductions, garnishments, adjustments, tax setup, reconciliations, and year-end reporting. Maintains payroll systems, audit trails, controls, SOPs, and accurate data flows into Accounting. Responds to tax notices, unemployment claims, and audits while partnering with Accounting, Finance, and People teams to resolve discrepancies and improve payroll workflows.

Own technical pre-sales for federal, defense, and intelligence customers. Lead platform demonstrations, architecture discussions, deployments, troubleshooting, and proofs of concept in cloud, on-premises, classified, and air-gapped environments. Partner with account executives to close opportunities, support renewals, translate technical capabilities into mission value, and provide customer feedback to product and engineering teams. Focus areas include Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, cloud development environments, and AI-assisted or agentic software development.

Own technical relationships with Fortune 500 prospects through pre-sales, demos, architecture discussions, deployments, troubleshooting, and proofs-of-concept. Demonstrate Coder across developer, administrator, and AI-agent workflows; translate technical outcomes into business value; and provide product feedback to Engineering and Product. Install and support Coder on cloud and on-premises Kubernetes or VM infrastructure, while contributing documentation and developing expertise in cloud development environments and agentic AI.

Lead complex, multi-team engineering programs from definition through delivery. Own scope, milestones, dependencies, risks, trade-offs, and stakeholder communication while coordinating engineering, product, design, security, and go-to-market teams. Influence architectural decisions, manage operating cadence, provide executive visibility, and improve engineering productivity through lightweight processes and AI-enabled tooling.

Own and scale Coder’s AWS partner sales engine across Public Sector and Eastern region accounts. Build proactive account maps, cultivate AWS relationships, create joint programs, generate AWS-sourced and influenced pipeline, and automate co-sell workflows. The role partners with account teams, supports ACE validation and partner reviews, and translates program performance into regional revenue plans.

Lead and grow the Core Workspaces engineering team, set technical direction, and contribute to architecture and implementation. Build reliable, extensible agentic systems involving agent execution, tool use, context management, streaming, integrations, and long-running workflows. Partner with Product and Design to improve developer experiences while coaching engineers, raising technical standards, and optimizing reliability, performance, and operability.

Build and improve internal AI enablement systems, including reusable journeys, skills, templates, paved paths, integrations, APIs, and development infrastructure. Partner with employees to identify blockers, provide technical guidance, troubleshoot workflows, and translate recurring needs into roadmap improvements. Support AI-assisted development environments, create documentation, and lead office hours, workshops, and enablement sessions. Collaborate with the Smart AI Program lead to execute roadmap priorities and improve internal developer experiences.
