The Lead Test Engineer will oversee product validation and testing for On Energy's power technologies, ensuring compliance and facilitating staff training, while analyzing data for improvements.

The Deployment Engineer prepares, configures, validates BESS systems before shipment, ensuring readiness and minimizing commissioning risk. They collaborate with teams and improve pre-deployment processes.

Manage sourcing, procurement, logistics, and supplier relationships for medium- and high-voltage transformers and related grid-interconnection hardware. Lead supplier selection, contracts, inventory planning, quality assurance, and cross-functional coordination with Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Quality to ensure on-time, cost-effective delivery and risk mitigation.

Lead power electronics product design and documentation for MW-scale systems, support project technical compliance, interface with project/commissioning/O&M teams, and feed design improvements into product development. Provide technical proposals, maintain as-built documentation, and participate in commissioning and product design sprints.

Create, organize, and maintain engineering-grade documentation (manuals, specs, installation and maintenance guides), manage revision control and templates, incorporate field feedback, support proposals, and ensure documentation meets quality and contractual requirements across product development and project execution.

Manage supplier quality for BESS and related equipment across procurement, factory testing, and field installation. Conduct supplier selection, audits, FAT witness, review ITPs, track non-conformances, and drive corrective actions to ensure compliant, traceable quality deliverables.

Design, develop, test, integrate, and commission PLC/SCADA control software and automation systems for energy storage and power infrastructure. Configure SCADA/HMI, implement control algorithms, support FATs/SATs, troubleshoot systems on-site and remotely, and collaborate with cross-functional teams for safe, reliable deployments.

Maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance SCADA servers, HMIs, historians, and gateways to ensure uptime, accurate data flow, and fast issue resolution. Support field devices, validate data points, assist remote commissioning, manage patches/backups, tune alarms, and provide documentation and process-improvement recommendations.

Execute and oversee Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs), supplier quality oversight, and on-site inspections for utility-scale BESS projects. Document and track non-conformances, support RCA and CAPA, verify compliance with drawings, specs, and ITPs, and ensure corrective actions before mechanical completion. Maintain quality records, reports, and metrics while interfacing with EPCs, OEMs, and suppliers.

Lead system-level product design and lifecycle for an AI UPS product, conduct market benchmarking, define the roadmap, support engineering and project teams, generate technical documentation, validate electrical and controls designs, and support commissioning and FAT activities while training stakeholders and capturing design feedback.
