Own application security for backend services, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and edge systems handling financial transactions. Responsibilities include validating red-team findings, assigning severity, hardening services, implementing WAF and rate-limiting defenses, creating automated security configuration checks, expanding pull-request security gates, reviewing architectures, managing attack-surface coverage, and evaluating security tools. The role also partners with engineers and Security Operations to drive effective remediation.

Manage AWS and GCP cloud environments, scale infrastructure globally, shape technical architecture, and build reliable CI/CD pipelines. Automate security and compliance controls, improve infrastructure performance, and develop systems interacting with smart contracts across multiple blockchains. The role requires Terraform, shell scripting, GitHub Actions, Docker, production cloud operations, and observability experience, with Kubernetes, networking, and fintech compliance knowledge preferred.

Design and own secure, scalable wallet infrastructure for custody, key management, transaction signing, authorization, recovery, and multichain systems. Architect support for MPC, HSMs, secure enclaves, TEEs, smart contract wallets, account abstraction, and emerging cryptographic approaches. Define security boundaries, policy engines, secrets management, authentication, and programmable authorization while making foundational build-versus-buy decisions and guiding systems from first principles through production.
