Leads mechanical design for HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems in commercial, multifamily, retail, and related building projects. Produces technical plans, specifications, calculations, and code-compliant designs; manages project planning, budgets, schedules, quality control, bidding, and construction administration. Collaborates with clients, architects, engineers, and project managers, while mentoring staff and supporting energy-efficient, high-performance design initiatives.

Leads mechanical design for HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems across building projects. Responsibilities include engineering analysis, calculations, specifications, client communication, project budgeting and scheduling, design reviews, quality control, mentoring, multidisciplinary coordination, and oversight through bidding and construction administration. The role also monitors project progress and fees, identifies risks, supports energy-efficient design, and develops practical engineering solutions.

Manage BIM projects and model coordination across disciplines, enforce standards and workflows, run clash detection and resolve issues, maintain models and deliverables, lead BIM kickoff and coordination meetings, provide software support and training, and ensure project model organization and quality.

10-12 week, full-time summer internship supporting surveying and civil engineering tasks. Assist with design activities, field surveying and materials testing, site drainage and grading design, documentation, report writing, permit support, coordination across disciplines, and client communication. Hands-on experience with CAD/BIM and Microsoft Office under mentorship.
