Lead architecture and implementation of Chainguard Repository’s customer-facing package registries, APIs, and artifact-serving services. The role requires substantial experience in high-growth SaaS or startup environments, international rewards programs, EOR management, and team development.

Build and operate scalable backend systems for Athena, including customer onboarding, entitlement logic, data ingestion, validation, deduplication, and agentic workflows. Develop in Go on GCP, use Terraform and GCP-native tooling, maintain observability and operational reliability, participate in on-call and incident response, and lead subsystem development across multiple engineers.

Own the vision, roadmap, and launch of a new AI-focused CI/CD product. Drive the product from internal system to customer offering through user research, design partners, developer experience, positioning, pricing, and cross-functional leadership.
