Own the architecture, configuration, integrations, and operational health of Vanta’s financial systems across Procure to Pay and FP&A. Lead implementation of a CPM tool, re-architect Zip, and develop finance data models in Snowflake. Build integrations involving NetSuite and related platforms, translate finance requirements into scalable solutions, and partner with Procurement, Accounting, FP&A, Legal, GRC, Data, and RevOps. Own strategy and daily operations for Vanta’s mid-to-late funnel upmarket sales motion. Lead opportunity management, forecasting, complex deal structuring, contracting workflows, Rules of Engagement, and cross-functional process improvements. Partner with Sales, Deal Desk, Finance, Legal, and GTM Systems teams to improve seller effectiveness, conversion, sales efficiency, and revenue predictability. Diagnose funnel friction, guide complex deals, align stakeholders, and implement scalable operating-model improvements.

Build and own full-stack features, platform primitives, and integrations for Vanta Government Cloud. Design secure APIs and services for authentication, data ingestion, schema evolution, monitoring, and framework mappings. Operate integrations within the GovCloud boundary, including observability, on-call support, incident response, change management, performance improvements, and automated testing. Collaborate with federal subject-matter experts, agencies, vendors, and assessment organizations while using AI responsibly to improve development and operations.

Lead architecture and rollout of scalable platform services and customer-facing APIs. Define API standards, service boundaries, security, reliability, and developer experience; collaborate with data-platform teams; drive RFCs and complex multi-quarter initiatives; mentor engineers; and contribute across the stack using TypeScript, Node.js, React, and AI tools.

Leads product design strategy and a team of designers for Vanta’s risk management products. Defines enterprise-grade, AI-powered workflows, dashboards, and risk experiences; conducts customer research; partners with Product, Engineering, Research, Content, Design Systems, and Go-to-Market teams; establishes design quality standards; influences product strategy; and develops scalable design processes and patterns.

Lead the migration of Vanta’s resource data platform from MongoDB to schema-aware PostgreSQL while maintaining API compatibility and data integrity. Design high-throughput Kafka and S3 ingestion pipelines, eventual-consistency strategies, query infrastructure, tenant isolation, and reliable distributed systems. Set architectural direction across storage, caching, and streaming technologies; mentor engineers; drive cross-team technical roadmaps; and improve reliability, observability, and operational excellence.

Owns top-of-funnel strategy and revenue operations for Vanta’s Upmarket Sales organization. Responsibilities include lead routing, account assignment, territory management, AE and SDR coverage, account pairing, process optimization, data analysis, and cross-functional GTM initiatives. The role partners with Sales, Marketing Operations, GTM Systems, and Analytics to improve pipeline generation, seller productivity, territory quality, and overall go-to-market efficiency.

Own Vanta’s AI product marketing strategy, including narrative, positioning, messaging, roadmap alignment, launches, event content, customer and analyst communications, and sales and customer-success enablement. Partner closely with Product and Engineering to translate technical AI capabilities into compelling, accurate market stories, influence roadmap decisions, and drive adoption. Lead keynote-level narratives, customer testimonials, objection handling, launch measurement, and scalable go-to-market processes.
