Validate data accuracy, document processing procedures, translate stakeholder requirements into intuitive visualizations, and collaborate with team members to support data-driven decisions. Process monthly expense reimbursements and recurring vendor invoices through bank Bill Pay. Review approvals, issue checks, notify recipients, flag unusual or duplicate submissions, and maintain payment logs for reconciliation. The role requires attention to detail and adherence to financial controls, but excludes expense approval, bookkeeping, QuickBooks, tax work, and signing authority.

Support the Head of HR with human resources operations, process development, organizational coordination, and communication across the virtual organization. Serve as a liaison between HR and other teams while helping organize and direct HR activities. Lead JerseySTEM’s public relations function by developing PR strategy, processes, media relationships, editorial calendars, measurement programs, and spokesperson training. Coordinate with Marketing to amplify press coverage, guide volunteers, monitor team efforts, and build organizational awareness among corporate donors. This unpaid role requires a minimum six-month commitment, approximately 5–10 hours weekly, with mostly remote work and onsite attendance at New Jersey events.

Writes clear, concise copy for social, print, video, online, advertising, publications, and websites. Collaborates with HR, employees, and web administration to develop and publish content, including employee profiles and project materials. Responsibilities also include editing and proofreading copy, attending weekly meetings, and contributing approximately five hours weekly for a six- to twelve-month commitment. This is a remote, unpaid pro-bono volunteer role.
