Responsibilities include ingestion, query planning, distributed query execution, storage and data formats, retrieval APIs, tenant isolation, usage tracking, observability, and service reliability. The role requires architectural ownership, pragmatic experimentation, cross-functional collaboration, and production delivery across cloud-native environments.

Lead hands-on development and operation of billing, usage, rates, and marketplace systems. Build primarily in Go while contributing to TypeScript and React applications, Kubernetes infrastructure, databases, CI/CD, and cloud services. Improve reliability, automation, observability, auditability, and production recovery. Deliver projects end to end, investigate incidents, participate in on-call, collaborate across teams, and provide technical leadership through design, reviews, mentoring, and operational improvements.

Own the vision, strategy, roadmap, positioning, and go-to-market approach for Grafana Federal Cloud and BYOC offerings. Partner with engineering, technical program management, security, compliance, legal, sales, customers, and partners to adapt Grafana Cloud for regulated, sovereign, air-gapped, and customer-owned environments. Balance customer value, compliance, technical constraints, deployment economics, and engineering capacity while shaping future deployment models.

Build and operate full-stack applications, customer portals, APIs, and backend services supporting usage metering, billing, provisioning, and cloud marketplace integrations. Develop primarily with TypeScript and React, alongside Golang and Node.js services. Lead technical design, improve reliability and observability, optimize CI/CD, participate in on-call, mentor engineers, and coordinate cross-functionally. The role requires strong communication, technical problem-solving, collaboration, judgment, and leadership in a remote international environment.

Lead technical partner engagement with cloud service providers, supporting sales progression, product demonstrations, enablement, training, workshops, events, and joint go-to-market activities. Create reference architectures, demos, solution guides, and educational content while tracking partner readiness and pipeline. Collaborate with sales, product, and go-to-market teams to expand Grafana Cloud adoption. Travel up to 50% for partner events and field activities.
