Conduct third-party security assessments, evaluate vendor controls, document risk findings, and automate governance workflows using Python and coding tools. Configure integrations across ticketing, GRC, and vendor-management platforms; develop risk dashboards and reporting; and partner with Procurement, Legal, Engineering, IT, Compliance, and Privacy. Lead and deliver quarterly goals for a backend team; guide engineers through ambiguous problems; collaborate with product, design, and analytics; identify and resolve project and technical issues; ensure operational availability and on-call readiness; set code and design quality standards; and mentor and develop team members.

Lead and build the Affirm Bank accounting function during bank formation. Oversee GL operations, regulatory and monthly financial reporting, audit coordination, process automation, cash management, and financial analysis. Manage and recruit the accounting team and partner cross-functionally to integrate bank accounting into Affirm's systems while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Responsible for leading a team of engineers, supporting product development, identifying technical issues, and ensuring high-quality code delivery in backend systems at scale.
