Supports process engineering projects in ATI’s Vacuum Induction Melting area, including process optimization, elemental addition sequencing, refractory trials, furnace liner assessment, quality analysis, standard operating procedures, and failure investigation. The intern collaborates with Operations and Engineering teams to improve melt quality, process consistency, and furnace performance in a manufacturing environment.

Mechanical Design Engineer Intern supporting ATI’s Monroe manufacturing operations. Responsibilities include improving and automating equipment processes, reverse engineering components, enhancing workplace safety, and developing CAD-based equipment modifications. The intern will collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, and Operations teams on manufacturing projects involving melt and ESR equipment, automation, process improvement, and practical engineering solutions.

Manages inside sales and sales support operations, including hiring, training, coaching, workflow optimization, customer relationships, sales reporting, budgeting, cost analysis, and invoice approvals. Serves as a liaison among customers, commercial managers, and internal departments to improve productivity and customer satisfaction.

Leads physical inventory activities, evaluates capital project ROI, reviews labor and overhead rates, and provides data-driven insights to operations and leadership. Requires manufacturing cost accounting experience, inventory transaction knowledge, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities; oversee general ledger transactions, balance sheet reconciliations, project subledgers, CIP and capital reporting, intercompany confirmations, and financial statement inputs under US GAAP. Serve as a general ledger subject matter expert, support audits, review controls, resolve discrepancies, and lead continuous improvement initiatives while collaborating across finance, engineering, and manufacturing teams.

Supports supply chain planning and execution by developing and maintaining operational data, reports, dashboards, ERP enhancements, and data governance processes. Analyzes trends, validates ERP and master data, automates reporting, performs user acceptance testing, documents processes, and recommends technology improvements. Serves as a technical liaison among Supply Chain, Operations, Sales, Finance, and Digital Technology while providing reporting, systems, and end-user support.

Leads customer relationships and day-to-day Inside Sales operations, including quoting, order management, backlog reporting, account support, shipment coordination, and issue resolution. Oversees, coaches, and trains the Inside Sales team while collaborating with Business Development, Engineering, Product Management, and Supply Chain.
