Leads two distributed frontend engineering squads responsible for platform foundations, navigation, search, and resource organization. Oversees hiring, team development, technical direction, delivery, customer discovery, roadmap prioritization, and operational excellence. Develop and enhance Grafana data source plugins integrating databases and third-party services. Support plugin reliability and operations in Grafana Cloud, integrate data sources with agentic workflows, improve processes, assist with customer escalations, and collaborate across the Grafana Division. The role requires full-stack software development using Golang and TypeScript, Kubernetes and microservices experience, robust coding practices, and participation in on-call and SRE operations.

Own technical direction and complex projects for Tempo, Grafana’s distributed tracing backend. Build and optimize ingestion, storage, query, metrics, and API components; improve performance, scalability, reliability, and operational excellence. Collaborate across product and engineering teams, write design documentation, participate in on-call and incident response, mentor engineers, and contribute to the open-source Tempo project.

Prospect and close new enterprise customers across Washington, D.C., Virginia, and Maryland. Manage the full consultative sales cycle, including outbound prospecting, discovery, demos, proofs of concept, proposals, negotiations, quoting, and order processing. Achieve sales targets, maintain pipeline forecasts in Salesforce, communicate product value, support customer trials, and hand off successful relationships to the Growth team.

Manage sales operations for Grafana Labs’ consumption-based products, including target setting, quota creation, compensation updates, account modeling, territory planning, and reporting. Analyze large customer datasets using BigQuery and SQL, improve data orchestration across GTM tools, manage sales exceptions, and deliver actionable insights to executive audiences. The role also requires advanced spreadsheet modeling, Salesforce reporting expertise, and experience with compensation platforms.

Leads GTM strategy and planning for a consumption-based SaaS business. Owns annual and long-range planning, revenue and capacity modeling, territory and workforce planning, performance reporting, and strategic analysis. Partners with Sales, Services, Finance, Data, Marketing, and Field Operations to improve planning infrastructure, evaluate markets and pricing, and advise executives. The role also drives scalable self-service processes and AI-assisted forecasting and reporting.

Lead architecture and execution of Grafana's marketing data stack and analytics practice. Build forecasting, predictive, and causal models, design BigQuery schemas, deploy agentic AI and automated pipelines, partner with GTM leadership, and deliver executive-grade insights to drive demand generation and ROI.

Lead the technical direction and architecture of Grafana Cloud’s Session Replay product across frontend, backend, and data systems. Design columnar storage, ingestion pipelines, data models, and query patterns for high-volume session data. Build cross-product debugging workflows, partner with customers and internal teams, improve engineering practices, make architectural decisions, and mentor engineers.

Build and maintain Grafana Cloud integrations and observability features across frontend (TypeScript/React), backend (Golang), and monitoring mixins (Jsonnet). Ship end-to-end features, own projects to production, contribute upstream to OpenTelemetry/Prometheus, run on-call for owned services, and communicate designs and demos across teams.

Prospect within and expand existing customer accounts across the West region. Manage the full consultative sales cycle, including prospecting, demos, proofs of concept, proposals, negotiations, forecasting, quoting, order processing, and account management. Communicate the value of Grafana Cloud and Grafana Enterprise, manage pipeline activity in Salesforce, achieve sales targets, and transition successful customer relationships to Customer Success.
