Architect, build, and support highly available enterprise edge infrastructure and security controls. The role includes threat hunting, mitigation, monitoring, DNS and load balancing, infrastructure automation, security standards, observability, technical documentation, technology evaluations, and cross-functional delivery. The engineer participates in an on-call rotation and helps shape the organization’s edge security strategy and roadmap.

Drives adoption of LPL’s fee-based advisory platforms by consulting with financial advisors, providing platform education, case and point-of-sale support, practice analysis, and growth insights. Identifies client segmentation and conversion opportunities, promotes tools and services, makes referrals across business units, manages an advisor opportunity pipeline in Salesforce, and conducts at least 20 meaningful advisor engagements weekly. Requires in-office presence twice per week.

Manages trading support staff serving financial advisors through rebalancing, model management, block trading, platform testing, onboarding, and training. Oversees workflows, escalations, capacity, controls, regulatory risk, and continuous process improvement. Partners with Technology and Product teams on system issues, releases, UAT, platform readiness, and production support. Coaches employees, manages performance, builds stakeholder relationships, and supports advisor conversions and cross-functional trading initiatives.

Designs, implements, and maintains Windows Server and Microsoft Azure infrastructure for high availability, performance, resiliency, and security. Manages Active Directory, monitoring, patching, migrations, incident resolution, system templates, and deployment automation. Leads architecture using Infrastructure as Code, identifies technology risks, evaluates tools, supports governance and compliance, and collaborates on application roadmaps. The role also requires hybrid cloud integration, Azure security and identity management, technical documentation, and continuous infrastructure improvement.

Provides operational support for managed portfolio products, accurately processes advisor requests, maintains service-level agreements, performs quality control, resolves inquiries, supports process improvements and system testing, maintains procedures, and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements. Serves as a subject matter expert for assigned overlay products, trading processes, and regulations while collaborating with internal operations and business partners.

Prospect financial advisors through cold calls, email campaigns, and LinkedIn outreach to generate qualified leads for LPL’s advisor recruiting team. The role executes targeted campaigns, qualifies prospects, presents leads to recruiting leadership, tracks KPIs and funnel impact in Salesforce, and develops toward an Internal Regional Director opportunity.
