Leads compliance strategy for Vanguard’s brokerage, advisor services, and workplace businesses. Advises business leaders on regulatory requirements, oversees compliance programs and policies, leads regulatory exams and investigations, develops corrective action plans, establishes compliance standards, and supports strategic risk-management initiatives. Requires at least eight years of related experience, an undergraduate degree or equivalent, and Series 7 and Series 64 licenses or the ability to obtain them.

Lead and develop data engineering leadership and teams to deliver scalable enterprise data products and platforms. Own product lifecycle, roadmap, and execution; design scalable pipelines and frameworks; enforce data quality, governance, and observability; partner with stakeholders to align data strategy to business outcomes; evaluate and implement modern data technologies; drive adoption and reliability across domains.

Provides administrative support to multiple leaders by managing complex calendars, scheduling meetings, coordinating travel and events, preparing documents and presentations, maintaining records, ordering supplies, tracking expenditures, and supporting special projects. Requires strong organization, discretion, attention to detail, independent judgment, and advanced Microsoft Office proficiency.

Provides intermediate-level support for designing, implementing, and maintaining AWS cloud security controls, IAM policies, monitoring systems, and security frameworks. Investigates cloud security and access incidents, performs risk assessments and vulnerability remediation, monitors logs and security events, and supports identity governance. Collaborates with engineering, DevOps, and application teams to implement secure cloud solutions while improving automation, documentation, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Leads Vanguard’s tokenization strategy by identifying and prioritizing use cases, evaluating market, regulatory, operational, and technical factors, and advising senior leadership. Partners with business, technology, legal, compliance, risk, product, and engineering teams to develop adoption roadmaps and validate opportunities. Monitors industry and regulatory trends, evaluates vendors and partnerships, represents Vanguard in industry forums, communicates strategic recommendations, and mentors colleagues on tokenization and digital assets.

Lead application security strategy and engineering across the SDLC. Implement and operate DAST/SAST/SCA/IAST/RASP tooling, secure containers/serverless/APIs, drive automation and CI/CD integration, respond to incidents, track metrics, create standards (NIST/OWASP/MITRE), and mentor development teams to improve security posture and developer experience.

Leads marketing strategy, positioning, segmentation, and go-to-market execution for Vanguard’s workplace financial well-being offerings. Develops audience-specific messaging, drives adoption, retention, and growth, analyzes market and client insights, and partners cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Strategy, Analytics, and Creative teams. Advises senior leaders, manages planning and measurement frameworks, and promotes test-and-learn marketing optimization.

Manage an assigned book of business through proactive client outreach, discovery conversations, relationship management, and consultative sales. Educate clients about Vanguard products and services, identify financial needs and growth opportunities, coordinate referrals to specialists, and support client retention. The role requires strong communication, organization, CRM proficiency, financial services knowledge, and active securities licenses.

Advise Vanguard fund trustees, directors, business leaders, and stakeholders on corporate governance, fiduciary obligations, board processes, and regulatory matters. Support board meetings, agendas, materials, resolutions, minutes, policies, and follow-up actions. Monitor legal and governance developments, advise on complex operational matters, support affiliated company boards, manage outside counsel, and contribute to special projects.

Advises ultra-high-net-worth clients on advanced estate planning, income tax, and financial planning strategies. Reviews client information, researches issues, performs analysis, and develops recommendations and deliverables. Partners with financial advisors, serves as a wealth-planning subject matter expert, mentors planning professionals, contributes to thought leadership, improves processes, manages compliance considerations, and supports team initiatives and special projects.
