Lead Ab Initio development and design by eliciting requirements, coordinating stakeholders, and converting requirements to DWH logical/physical designs. Perform Ab Initio GDE/EME development, deployments, data quality builds, SQL programming, Unix shell scripting, and support ETL/BI integrations (Teradata/Netezza/MicroStrategy).

Design, develop and deploy Ab Initio ETL solutions: elicit requirements, create logical/physical DWH designs, build data quality, perform code migrations, write SQL and Unix shell scripts, and coordinate with SMEs and stakeholders to meet timelines.

Design and execute performance test plans and workload patterns, estimate capacity, implement performance strategies, identify and troubleshoot bottlenecks (heap/thread dumps), coordinate with dev and infrastructure teams, lead optimization efforts, and report findings. Support mobile performance testing when needed.

Develop integrations using Software AG webMethods and Unix; translate functional and non-functional requirements into system requirements; follow the software development lifecycle; provide production support and performance engineering as needed; collaborate with global teams and interface with clients.

Administer, maintain, upgrade and troubleshoot Hadoop clusters and ecosystem components (HBase, Hive, Pig, MapReduce). Configure security (AD/LDAP/Kerberos), schedulers, job orchestration (Oozie/enterprise schedulers), backups, HA/DR, monitoring (Ganglia, Nagios, Splunk), performance tuning, node management, and collaborate with infrastructure and application teams.
