Independently underwrite complex specialty lending transactions, evaluate atypical collateral and repayment structures, construct borrowing bases, assess litigation finance and leveraged lending risks, prepare credit presentations, and monitor regulatory developments. The role also mentors junior analysts, supports loan committee decisions, and ensures compliance with banking policies and regulations.

Leads consumer compliance, BSA/AML, fintech partner, and regulatory testing and monitoring programs. Directs testing professionals, reviews results, reports risks and trends to management and board committees, validates issue remediation, coordinates audits and regulatory exams, and advises stakeholders on compliance controls. Requires strong knowledge of consumer compliance laws, leadership, project management, communication, and regulatory testing experience.

Owns Fintech profitability strategy, pricing methodologies, financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and client economics. Develops pricing recommendations covering deposits, fees, revenue sharing, and contract terms; evaluates portfolio profitability; presents recommendations to committees and executives; supports negotiations, audits, controls, and regulatory reviews. Partners with Fintech leadership, banking stakeholders, vendors, auditors, and sponsor banks while maintaining profitability reports and forecasts.

Leads internal and external financial reporting, including SEC filings, bank regulatory reports, earnings materials, board reporting, variance analysis, and audit support. Oversees internal controls over financial reporting, evaluates accounting guidance and disclosure requirements, and manages cross-functional projects involving system implementations, reconciliations, acquisitions, portfolio purchases, and strategic investments. Partners with executive leadership to improve reporting automation, standardization, forecasting, budgeting, and financial performance visibility.

Supports fintech partnership financial analytics through deal modeling, profitability analysis, forecasting, KPI monitoring, budget tracking, variance analysis, and executive reporting. Evaluates deposit balances, net interest income, fee revenue, pricing, and client economics across gaming, payments, acquiring, issuing, and banking-as-a-service verticals. Collaborates with Sales, Account Management, Finance, Treasury, Data teams, and leadership to inform deal decisions and improve portfolio performance.

Provides first-level operational, product, and customer support for fintech partners. Responsibilities include managing partner requests, monitoring SLAs, coordinating due diligence and risk-review information, maintaining partner records, supporting complaint and card-related workflows, compiling reporting data, resolving moderately complex issues, and helping retain and expand partner relationships.

Leads MVB’s enterprise technology strategy, modernization roadmap, architecture, infrastructure, and Banking-as-a-Service platform. Oversees enterprise applications, IT operations, core banking, lending, digital systems, networks, servers, and support functions. Partners with security, risk, compliance, data, and AI leaders to maintain regulatory readiness, resiliency, cybersecurity, and business continuity. Guides cloud migration, legacy transformation, vendor sourcing, fintech partner enablement, technical delivery, organizational development, and technology budgeting while remaining engaged in architecture and critical technical decisions.

Serves as the technical liaison between fintech stakeholders, core banking teams, shared services, and vendors. Assesses payment and account integration requirements, designs funds and data flows, diagnoses non-standard technical needs, scopes new integration capabilities, and leads cross-functional discussions through documented, supportable solutions. Provides consultative guidance on ACH, wire, check/image processing, file formats, and secure data exchange configurations.

Manages fintech client onboarding and implementation programs from kickoff through testing and go-live. Builds implementation plans, coordinates Compliance, BSA/AML, Risk, Legal, Operations, Technology, and external partners, tracks milestones and dependencies, leads status meetings, escalates risks, supports readiness reviews and audits, and maintains implementation documentation. The role manages multiple concurrent engagements while translating regulatory requirements into practical tasks and checkpoints without owning the underlying subject-matter expertise.

Lead and oversee MVB's enterprise fraud program, managing policy, incident response, investigations, exam remediation, tooling, KPIs, training, and cross-functional escalations for fintech and retail banking.
