Own new-logo sales pursuits across named neocloud accounts, from prospecting and technical discovery through contract closure and customer handoff. Build relationships from infrastructure engineers to executives, coordinate Sales Engineering, Field CTO, partnerships, legal, operations, and engineering teams, and negotiate complex multi-year agreements, SLAs, IP, and revenue-sharing terms. Maintain accurate pipeline forecasts and support account expansion after launch.

Principal Site Reliability Engineer responsible for the availability, scalability, durability, and operational reliability of production systems. The role leads observability, incident response, SLO and error-budget practices, automation, infrastructure as code, and long-term service improvements. Responsibilities include designing monitoring and alerting frameworks, supporting Kubernetes and distributed storage environments, improving operational processes, collaborating across engineering and business teams, and mentoring reliability-focused practices. Manages timelines, budgets, resources, risks, dependencies, dashboards, and executive reporting for multiple concurrent initiatives. Lead Backblaze’s developer relations strategy and establish B2 as the preferred storage layer for AI and agent-led projects. Coordinate engineering, documentation, content, solutions engineering, and startup-program resources; build credibility across developer communities, open source projects, events, and AI tooling ecosystems. Create feedback loops with product and engineering, define adoption and conversion metrics, produce technical content, and grow developer mindshare, engagement, signups, and usage.
