Build and maintain Supabase’s public Python SDK across database, authentication, storage, realtime, and edge functions. Develop natural sync and async APIs, manage typing, packaging, testing, release automation, documentation, and issue triage. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and open-source contributors, support multiple Python environments, maintain WebSocket functionality, and design migration paths for API changes. Collaborate with customers, Engineering, Design, Security, and GTM; use product data to prioritize improvements; define authentication for AI agents; and align teams on product plans and rationale.

Build and automate cloud cost optimization and governance across AWS and GCP. Analyze billing and usage, identify and implement savings, maintain cost attribution, create reporting and anomaly detection, and write Python, Terraform, and Lambda automation. Partner with Engineering, Finance, Product, and leadership on architecture tradeoffs, forecasting, budgeting, and cost accountability.

Design, build, and operate Supabase’s global edge and networking infrastructure, including routing, load balancing, DNS, WAF, TLS termination, CDN integrations, and observability. Improve latency, reliability, security, and cost efficiency across cloud regions. The role includes developing automated routing systems and CI/CD, troubleshooting distributed systems, participating in on-call and incident response, and collaborating with infrastructure and product teams.
