Manage Coinbase's defense in securities class actions and shareholder derivative suits. Lead pleadings, discovery, motions, expert work, settlement negotiations, and outside counsel. Advise senior leadership and the board on litigation risk, monitor corporate law developments, and manage D&O insurance relationships.

Serve as second-in-command for Coinbase Derivatives' Market Regulation Department, leading day-to-day regulatory compliance, managing exams and audits, advising on CFTC Core Principles, reviewing surveillance escalations and enforcement actions, and coordinating cross-functional regulatory workstreams to ensure the DCM meets obligations and resolves findings timely.

Provide advanced litigation paralegal support: manage high-volume domestic and international subpoenas, summons, levies, garnishments, and related third-party requests; communicate with opposing counsel and agencies; prepare and file pleadings for state and federal litigation and arbitrations; improve litigation processes and workflows; and support legal operations projects, tool implementations, and vendor evaluations.

Lead legal strategy for Coinbase payments partnerships: draft, negotiate, and execute complex commercial agreements; provide business-centric regulatory guidance; partner cross-functionally to close deals; build scalable commercial playbooks and risk-mitigation strategies; manage a high-volume deal pipeline and coordinate with specialists and outside counsel.
