Own compliance advisory for the Affirm Card program across marketing, onboarding, payments, disputes, servicing, and new product features. Apply consumer finance regulations, review disclosures and UX, lead root-cause analysis and remediation, maintain risk assessments and controls, support regulatory exams and audits, and develop compliance training. Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Operations, Legal, Risk, and senior leadership to make independent, risk-based decisions.

Administer the compliance testing program by conducting regulatory reviews, reporting findings, identifying control gaps, and coordinating remediation. Partner cross-functionally with Legal, Risk, Product, Engineering, Operations, and management. Support compliance risk assessments, control inventory, process improvements, and regulatory analysis for new or revised products and services.

Evaluate, structure, and price consumer asset-backed transactions; develop capital structuring, pricing, and quantitative loan-performance models; and provide funding strategy insights. Partner with Capital Markets, Treasury, Merchant Pricing, Credit, Commercial, Product, and Engineering teams to support funding, product, and business decisions. The role also involves collaborating with accountants, rating agencies, and internal and external partners.

Lead independent validation and ongoing monitoring of complex financial and analytics models, including ALM, loss forecasting, loan transition, corporate finance, and engagement models. Identify weaknesses, communicate findings, guide remediation, and strengthen model governance. Collaborate with Finance, Quantitative Research, Growth Analytics, Internal Audit, Internal Controls, Accounting, and Compliance to maintain Affirm’s model risk framework and address audit, regulatory, and examiner requests.

Lead and build the Affirm Bank accounting function during bank formation. Oversee GL operations, regulatory and monthly financial reporting, audit coordination, process automation, cash management, and financial analysis. Manage and recruit the accounting team and partner cross-functionally to integrate bank accounting into Affirm's systems while ensuring regulatory compliance.
