The Strategic Finance Manager will partner with various teams to drive performance, manage forecasting, reporting, and support executive decision-making by providing insightful analysis and strategic recommendations.

Lead cross-functional initiatives to remediate control deficiencies and improve month-end close. Serve as liaison between operational close teams and Product, Engineering, Financial Systems, and Technical Accounting. Develop project plans, translate requirements into reports, resolve complex accounting issues, and recommend scalable process improvements to ensure accurate, timely financial reporting.

Lead technical accounting research and manage end-to-end SEC external financial reporting (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K). Oversee policy development, SOX controls, audit support, disclosures, and mentorship of accounting staff while advising on complex transactions (M&A, debt/equity, securitization) and driving process improvements.

Lead and evolve Affirm's enterprise risk management program, strengthen governance and core risk programs (operational, third-party, business continuity), and build risk analytics and reporting. Advise senior leadership on risk for new products and strategic decisions, drive cross-functional alignment, and scale a high-performing risk team to support the company’s growth.

Support Affirm's revenue growth by partnering with cross-functional leaders, building financial models, analyzing performance metrics, and delivering analytics for executives.
