Company Description

This seat opened because our last rep got promoted.

That's how it works at Techo-Bloc. Our Charlotte rep grew the territory, moved up the career path, and stepped into a bigger role. Now the territory needs its next leader, and it could be you.

We're looking for a driven, relationship-first sales professional to build and own a growing territory across Charlotte, NC and the surrounding region. This is a rare shot at joining a fast-growing, premium hardscape-products company with a reputation contractors and dealers genuinely respect — one built on quality, craftsmanship, and doing right by the people who sell it.

Why Charlotte, why now

The Carolinas are one of the busiest outdoor-living markets in the country. You'll inherit dealer relationships and brand presence that are already working, and you'll have room to take them further with the coming new plant! It's an established territory with plenty left to win.

Job Description

What you'll do

  • Own the territory. Run a structured weekly plan built on our Sales Science method, with 40+ meaningful touches a week.
  • Win contractors over. Teach them, share installation know-how, and show up on the jobsite. Then send their business to our dealer partners.
  • Make dealers successful. Train their staff, keep displays sharp and on-brand, and give them the samples, catalogs and tools they need to sell.
  • Hunt for new business. Research the market, study the competition, and go after opportunities others miss.
  • Sell with data. Use Power BI and our CRM to see where growth is and go after it.
  • Get out there. Trade shows, lunch & learns, dealer events. You'll be the face of Techo-Bloc

Qualifications

What you bring

  • Experience in hardscape or building materials, or selling into a dealer network
  • A hunter's drive and a relationship-builder's patience
  • Comfort with CRM, data, and a structured sales process
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to travel the territory
  • A valid passport for training and meetings at our head office in Canada
  • The ambition to be the next person promoted out of this seat

Additional Information

Your growth is mapped out, not promised

Our four-level career path, from SR1 to SR4, shows exactly which skills and results lead to each promotion and pay increase. They cover hustle, new business, revenue growth, merchandising, product knowledge and customer service. You'll always know where you stand and what comes next. The person who held this role before you is proof that it works.

What you get

  • Base salary plus commission, with growth potential
  • Professional sales training, ICPI and NCMA certifications, and the industry's largest product video library
  • Custom CRM and ERP tools, so you spend your time selling instead of on paperwork
  • A supportive team and a brand contractors and homeowners already want

We love backyards. We think building things is awesome, and we like helping create people's favorite place to hang out. If that sounds like you, send us your resume and let's talk.
