National Account Executive - Paid Ads

Experienced Sales | $60K–$80K Base + Uncapped Commission

If you're already closing deals somewhere else and you're tired of hitting a ceiling on what you can earn, this is worth 10 minutes of your time. We're looking for an experienced Account Executive in Charlotte who can run a complete sales process from identifying the ideal target prospect, to running a needs assessment, to successfully the sale and setting up new customers for an awesome onboarding experience You’ll be selling paid ads, PPC, paid social, and Local Services Ads, to small businesses across the country.

This isn't an entry-level seat. You'll be expected to bring a track record of success. In return, you'll get the support and runway to ramp into full production, uncapped commission, and the opportunity to help build a new team within a successful startup already scaled to $20M+ ARR.

What You’d Actually Be Selling

You'd be selling paid media, PPC, paid social, and Local Services Ads (LSA), campaigns that put small businesses in front of customers actively looking for them. You're working with owners who already know they need to advertise, your job is proving Olly Olly is who should run it. This type of sale requires a consultative approach in which you will both assess the prospect’s current marketing strategy while prescribing the best version of what Olly Olly has to offer. You’ll need to be comfortable with reviewing the quality of other marketing campaigns, doing quick math to assess cost per lead, expected ROI, what working with Olly Olly would be worth to their business, and making the case in real time.

Compensation

What the pay actually looks like:

  • $60,000 - $80,000 base salary, based on experience and a proven track record selling paid ads products in a similar environment

  • Annual on-target earnings of $120,000-$140,000 (hitting 100% of your sales goal every month)

  • Uncapped commission, no ceiling on what you can earn

What You’ll Be Doing

This is a full-cycle sales role. Day to day, that means:

  • Prospecting, self-sourcing, and building your own pipeline of small business owners (we’ll help with prospecting where we can)

  • Running a consultative sales process from first call to close

  • Understanding a client’s business well enough to recommend the right paid media strategy, not just pitching a package

  • Ensuring expectations are set correctly through a deep understanding and strong communication of our products and internal processes

  • Collaborating with Sales Leadership to support the growth of the Paid Ads sales team through contributing to the sales strategies we will use to grow the sales team in 2027 and beyond

Who Thrives Here

You have at least 2 years in experience selling paid ads

You know how to sell and you’re coachable and open to feedback.

You believe in the value of a strong needs assessment and that “closing” is done by a sales person, not an emailed proposal.

You can build and manage a pipeline effectively, regardless of the CRM - you can make it work.

You have a growth mindset and can roll with the punches and the change that inevitably comes along with working on a new team in a startup sales org.

You agree: a strong work ethic, coachability, and a positive mental attitude are all that’s required to be successful in sales. Experience, knowledge, and skills are certainly nice to have as well.
