Overall Purpose: To drive revenue growth by strategically managing relationships with application and solution providers/vendors to promote and deliver wireless/wireline voice and data services through partner channels.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Identify, target, and recruit new or underperforming channel partners aligned with AT&T’s strategic objectives. 
  • Build and manage a prioritized outreach pipeline, leveraging market research and industry events to supplement target lists. 
  • Lead all recruitment activities, including outreach, discovery, value proposition delivery, negotiation, and agreement execution. 
  • Develop and execute structured onboarding and enablement plans to accelerate partner activation and early revenue generation. 
  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, enablement, marketing, product) to ensure partners have the resources and support needed for rapid growth. 
  • Monitor and analyze partner performance, providing feedback and coaching to drive continuous improvement during the ramp-up phase. 
  • Share market intelligence and recruitment learnings with the broader partnerships team to inform program enhancements. 
  • Maintaining and continuing to grow the relationship once established as the trusted partner 

 

Preferred Experience 

  • Experience recruiting and developing partners for technology solutions. 
  • Familiarity with AT&T’s product portfolio and partner ecosystem. 
  • Existing network within the channel partner community. 
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver partner enablement and go-to-market support. 
  • Exposure to emerging technologies and the ability to position innovation as a differentiator in partner conversations. 

KPIs / Success Measures 

  • Number of new partners activated and developed within defined timeframes. 
  • Partner activation rate (measured by first revenue or milestone achievement). 
  • Revenue growth from newly onboarded partners during the ramp-up period. 
  • Quality and impact of market intelligence and program feedback provided to internal stakeholders. 

 

Qualifications 

  • 5+ years of experience in channel partner recruitment, channel development, or partner program management within technology, telecom, or enterprise software sectors. 
  • Demonstrated success in building and managing a partner acquisition pipeline and driving partners to activation. 
  • Strong understanding of channel economics, partner motivations, and competitive program positioning. 
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. 
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and disciplined pipeline management. 

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired. 8+ years of related sales experience.

Our Lead Account Manager 3 Channel earns between $105,400-$158,000 USD Annual USD plus Target Incentive $56,700. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
