CPI Security, a leader in the security and automation solutions industry, is looking for a Sales Advisor to join our growing Inside Sales team at our incredible corporate headquarters in Charlotte, NC! As a Sales Advisor, you will play a leading role in our mission to protect our customers and what matters most to them. In this role, you'll work with homeowners to determine their needs and customize CPI home security and automation packages. There’s no cold calling, customers come to you! This isn’t just any sales job – you will make a difference in customers’ lives by helping them protect what matters most. 

 

What You'll Do:

  • Sell residential, commercial, and new construction Security and Home Automation products and services via incoming phone calls 
  • Promote, accurately describe and sell the details of our services or products in a knowledgeable manner, including upselling & cross selling when possible 
  • Complete sales documents accurately to ensure Field Sales and Technicians have all the information they need to create a satisfactory experience for the homeowner 
  • Actively listen to customers’ needs and provide a consultative and persuasive sales approach that champions the CPI brand from start to finish 
  • Engage customers throughout the sales cycle to convert inbound and outbound opportunities into sales or confirmed appointments 
  • Create and maintain a robust pipeline through the Salesforce CRM Platform and contribute to the sales database in multiple systems  
  • Pursue customers in Salesforce and other CRM systems via outbound calls to further develop customer base 
  • Excel in a fast-paced, sales driven environment where exceeding sales goals leads to long term success 
  • Provide best-in-class customer care in all interactions 

What We're Looking For:

  • Upbeat personality and a fun, positive attitude 
  • 1-2 years previous sales experience preferred, but not required   
  • Strong customer service and people skills 
  • Ability to consistently meet and exceed sales quotas 
  • Coachability with a desire to grow professionally 
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends 
  • Experience with CRM system such as SalesForce is a plus, but not required 
  • Exceptional sales skills are a plus, particularly with strong upselling and closing abilities

  • $60,000 to $90,000 Annual Compensation
  • Base hourly rate with tiered commission structure, performance based, training and quarterly bonus
