Job Summary:

We are seeking a Content Specialist to join our growing team within the pharmaceutical marketing space. In this role, you will support the content team by coordinating projects, assisting with content creation and review, and ensuring smooth execution across multiple content initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a passion for content, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a highly regulated industry with attention to detail. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that all content aligns with brand guidelines, is compliant with medical/legal/regulatory (MLR) standards, and meets the needs of our clients..

  

Duties/ Responsibilities:

Content Creation & Project Management

  • Assist in managing content timelines and ensuring all content deliverables meet deadlines.
  • Track content progress through the MLR review process, working closely with medical, legal, and regulatory teams to ensure timely approvals.
  • Support the content creation process by drafting and editing copy for SMS campaigns.
  • Help ensure that content is aligned with brand messaging and internal best practices, while maintaining compliance and standards.
  • Assist with preparing and organizing content for sales support including presentations and RFPs

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with relevant teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Coordinate with client services to gather necessary information and materials for content development.

Compliance & Quality Control

  • Ensure that all content adheres to internal compliance standards and industry regulations (FDA, MLR, etc.).
  • Assist in reviewing content for accuracy, ensuring that it meets scientific and medical standards.
  • Track content assets and versions to maintain proper documentation and organization.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • Additional coursework or certification in medical writing or pharmaceutical marketing is a plus.
  • 1-3 years of experience in content support, project coordination, or a related field, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
    Familiarity with medical/legal/regulatory review processes and compliance standards is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects at once.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clarity and accuracy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with content management systems (CMS) is a plus.
    Attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards in content quality and compliance.
  • Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

The base salary range for this role is $70,000 - 90,000.
