About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Vice President, Cost & Operating Leverage Lead who is responsible for identifying, quantifying, and driving actions that improve efficiency, productivity, and operating leverage across the organization. The role transforms cost reporting into actionable management decisions and ensures identified opportunities are converted into measurable business outcomes. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
  • Analyze workforce, vendor, location, platform, and process costs to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Develop operational productivity frameworks and performance scorecards.
  • Monitor savings realization and operating leverage targets.
  • Build analytical models supporting workforce economics and organization design decisions.
  • Conduct scenario analysis related to staffing, organizational structures, and business investments.
  • Produce executive reporting on productivity, expense management, and cost transformation programs.
  • Support strategic planning through cost baseline development and forecasting.
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of cost management and productivity measurement.
  • Advanced analytical and financial modeling capabilities.
  • Experience influencing senior stakeholders through data-driven recommendations.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
