This role…
Has full accountability for account management organizational performance, including development and execution of tactical plans to meet relationship, retention, and growth goals.
Oversees contract performance, ensuring fulfillment of reporting requirements and strengthening relationships with stakeholders across assigned contracts/accounts.
Creates a best-in-class experience for client and account stakeholders.
Leads retention strategies and identifies avenues for profitable growth within assigned accounts, including expansion of existing services or introduction of new offerings.
Partners with leadership teams to monitor service delivery compliance, financial performance, and to identify and resolve deficiencies through corrective action plans.
Monitors and reviews operational data to proactively address performance concerns and opportunities for program improvement.
Serves as the primary contact and resolution point for account stakeholders at both corporate and local levels.
Leads cross-functional teams in developing action plans for performance improvement and ensures execution.
Crafts and maintains strategic retention and growth plans tailored to each account.
Effectively articulates the organization’s value proposition and identifies strategic opportunities aligned with client goals and industry trends.
Tracks and addresses contract compliance including Liquidated Damages, CAPS, QIPS, and PIPs.
May lead projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred.
Fifteen (15) plus years of experience in account management, with significant experience in healthcare or managed care preferred.
Ten (10) plus years of leadership experience overseeing teams and senior leaders.
Proven expertise in working with C-suite executives and complex healthcare clients.
Experience managing geographically dispersed teams and high-level client relationships.
Deep understanding of the client contracting process and strategic payor relationships.
Strategic thinking with strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
Demonstrated ability to lead change management initiatives and drive cross-functional efficiencies.
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, including verbal, written, and presentation abilities.
High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, and familiarity with data analytics tools such as Tableau is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to influence and coach senior leaders, manage performance gaps, and guide career development strategies.
Experience preparing and managing budgets, and driving corrective actions based on variance analysis.
Salary: $188,300 - $242,750
Role is commission eligible.
