Title and Summary

Vice President, Account Management

Vice President, Account Manager plays a strategic leadership role in overseeing client relationships, managing account teams, and developing account strategies to drive revenue growth and client satisfaction. This includes aligning account strategies with company goals, advocating for client needs internally, and ensuring the organization meets client expectations. The VP collaborates with the account lead to define goals and implement initiatives aligned with the institution’s mission and long-term strategy.

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients
• Providing leadership and mentoring to cross-functional teams and department heads.
• Analyzing market trends to identify business opportunities and potential risks.
• Representing Mastercard at high-level meetings, negotiations, and industry events.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field (MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred).
• Extensive experience in account management, leadership and strategic planning.
• Strong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Proven track record of strategic planning and business development.
• Leadership presence with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization.
• Building strong relationships with clients, communicating effectively, and negotiating contracts and renewals

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Mastercard benefits for full time (and certain part time) employees generally include: insurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance); flexible spending account and health savings account; paid leaves (including 16 weeks of new parent leave and up to 20 days of bereavement leave); 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time, 25 days of vacation time and 5 personal days, pro-rated based on date of hire; 10 annual paid U.S. observed holidays; 401k with a best-in-class company match; deferred compensation for eligible roles; fitness reimbursement or on-site fitness facilities; eligibility for tuition reimbursement; and many more.

O'Fallon, Missouri: $208,000 - $334,000 USD

New York City, New York: $250,000 - $401,000 USD

Purchase, New York: $239,000 - $384,000 USD

Remote - Minnesota: $208,000 - $334,000 USD
