What’s in It for You

This role provides an opportunity to help shape and operate one of Trane Technologies’ most significant enterprise AI platforms as generative AI transforms how work gets done across the company.

You will work at the intersection of artificial intelligence, enterprise technology, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, integrations, and employee experience. You will have the opportunity to work directly with Google and internal technology leaders, influence how emerging AI capabilities are introduced across the enterprise, and establish the technical practices required to operate a rapidly evolving AI platform at scale.

You will also play an important role in helping Trane Technologies move beyond simply providing access to AI by establishing the technical practices and operating model that allow Gemini Enterprise, agents, connectors, and other AI capabilities to be safely and effectively integrated into how the company works.

What You Bring — Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience administering, managing, or technically owning a large-scale enterprise SaaS, cloud, collaboration, productivity, or AI platform.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise platform administration, configuration, environments, APIs, integrations, connectors, identity and access management, permissions, and security concepts.
  • Experience managing production environments, platform configuration, releases, lifecycle management, change management, and technical support.
  • Experience evaluating technical impacts, coordinating testing, and introducing new platform capabilities into production environments.
  • Strong technical troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work across engineering, infrastructure, cybersecurity, identity, privacy, support, product, and vendor teams.
  • Ability to translate product and business requirements into technical requirements and implementation plans.
  • Experience working with technology vendors and managing technical escalations.

What You Will Do

  • Serve as the technical lead for the Gemini Enterprise application, accountable for its day-to-day technical operation, health, and supportability.
  • Configure and maintain Gemini Enterprise platform settings, administrative controls, environments, permissions, and enterprise capabilities.
  • Manage the technical configuration, deployment, lifecycle, and ongoing operation of Gemini Enterprise connectors and integrations.
  • Support the technical configuration, deployment, and ongoing operation of enterprise agents within Gemini Enterprise.
  • Partner with the Product Owner and AI Engineering teams to operationalize advanced solutions, including agents, connectors, permissions, integrations, and platform configuration.
  • Evaluate new Gemini Enterprise features and releases for technical readiness, including technical impact, dependencies, security considerations, testing requirements, and implementation approach.
  • Manage platform changes and releases, including technical impact assessment, testing, documentation, and implementation across applicable environments.
  • Partner with Identity, Cybersecurity, Privacy, Legal, and other technology teams to implement required access controls, security requirements, and enterprise policies.
  • Monitor platform health, reliability, performance, and configuration to proactively identify issues, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide L3 technical support for complex Gemini Enterprise platform, connector, integration, configuration, and enterprise-agent issues escalated beyond the Service Desk and standard support teams.
  • Coordinate with Google for L4 support when issues require vendor investigation, product-level troubleshooting, or engineering intervention.
  • Serve as a primary technical interface with Google for platform issues, feature questions, technical capability discussions, and escalations.
  • Maintain technical documentation, platform configuration standards, operational procedures, support runbooks, environment documentation, and technical decision records.
  • Support platform administration activities such as user access, license provisioning, and other operational processes as needed.
  • Partner with Gemini Enterprise Product Team to ensure technical changes and new capabilities are appropriately communicated and supported before release.

How Success Will Be Measured

Success in this role will be measured through the health, reliability, supportability, and technical maturity of the Gemini Enterprise platform, including:

  • Platform stability and reliability: Gemini Enterprise operates consistently with minimal disruption and strong technical health.
  • Technical readiness and release execution: New capabilities are evaluated, tested, documented, and introduced through a disciplined lifecycle.
  • Connectors, integrations, and agents: Enterprise capabilities are implemented, operated, and supported reliably.
  • Issue resolution and supportability: L3 issues are resolved effectively, recurring problems are reduced, and Google escalations are managed appropriately.
  • Security and compliance: Platform configuration, permissions, integrations, and capabilities remain aligned with enterprise requirements.
  • Operational maturity: Standards, runbooks, monitoring, documentation, support processes, and technical ownership continue to mature.
  • Product roadmap execution: Product priorities are translated into timely, reliable technical implementation in partnership with the Product Owner.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Google Cloud, Gemini Enterprise, or other Google enterprise technologies.
  • Experience with generative AI platforms, enterprise AI assistants, AI agents, or agentic technologies.
  • Experience implementing and supporting enterprise connectors, APIs, integrations, or data-access patterns.
