Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Software Implementation Consultant to lead the deployment and integration of our AP automation platform. This role is critical in ensuring that clients achieve optimal value from our software through meticulous planning, configuration, training, and support. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and clients to understand their business needs and deliver solutions that drive success. This role will manage, with assistance from senior resources, multiple implementations of our Automate platform across a wide variety of verticals, while simultaneously building client relationships and supporting current users of our software. Implementations of Automate typically take 12-14 weeks and involve full project lifecycle management. Consultants are generally asked to manage 10-15 active projects at a time.
Key Responsibilities:
Implementation and Configuration
- Execute, with occasional support from senior resources, implementations of the Charted AP automation platform, scheduling and running client meetings, performing discovery and configuration, guiding user acceptance testing, managing deployment to production, and producing all required documentation.
Project Management
- Execute daily and weekly project management activities, including maintaining project plans in Asana, our project management platform, sending weekly project status updates to all clients, participating in weekly team standup meetings, and providing weekly project overview reports to team management.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
Client Collaboration and Relationship Management
- Assist with support of Charted for existing clients, performing troubleshooting, providing guidance related to features/functionality and best practices, executing end-user training, modifying existing configuration, and implementing new configuration as required.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure high levels of satisfaction and trust.
Continuous Improvement
- Provide client and internal-driven feedback to the Product and Engineering teams regarding new feature/product requests to help drive future development.
Training and Support
- Work with the Software Implementation and Product teams to help develop and maintain internal and client-facing training materials and documentation related to the Charted platform.
Qualifications:
- Must have a strong desire to learn new skills. Driven by curiosity and a “need to know.”
- Minimum of 2+ years of SaaS consulting experience (NetSuite experience a plus).
- General project management and execution skills required.
- Previous experience deploying pre-packaged software solutions a plus.
- Must have some familiarity with, and be interested in, business systems. Exposure to multiple business/ERP systems a plus.
- Must thrive in a startup business environment
- Must have a strong understanding of general business principles and must be comfortable conducting business analysis work, matching outputs to system configuration.
- Must have a good grasp of accounts payable workstreams. Knowledge of basic accounting principles and of general compliance and controls requirements (approvals, separation of duties, etc.) a plus.
- Must be comfortable interfacing directly with clients with only occasional assistance from others.
Technical Skills:
- Must have strong analytical skills and be able to solve moderately complex problems with minimal assistance, even when the topics involved are unfamiliar.
- Must be able to handle competing priorities effectively.
- Must have a keen desire to expand your understanding of automation and accounting software and related business systems.
Soft Skills:
- Must have impeccable written and oral communication skills.
- Must prioritize customer service and customer satisfaction.
- Must have solid business analysis skills.
