Job Summary

We are seeking an eager, energetic person to join our team as an Associate Software Implementation consultant. While this role requires no previous ERP/SaaS experience, the successful candidate will have an aptitude for business systems, will be interested in consulting, will be motivated by learning, and will have strong organizational and communication skills.  This role is heavily client-facing, tasked with running 10-15 implementations of Automate simultaneously while also providing support for existing Charted clients via our ticketing system. You will collaborate closely with our clients to understand their business needs and with cross-functional internal teams to deliver solutions that drive success. Implementations of Automate typically take 12-14 weeks and involve full project lifecycle management. 

Key Responsibilities:  

Implementation and Configuration  

  • Execute, with assistance from more experienced team members, implementations of the Charted AP Automation suite, scheduling and running client meetings, performing discovery and configuration, guiding user acceptance testing, managing deployment to production, and producing all required documentation. 

Project Management  

  • Execute daily and weekly project management activities, including maintaining project plans in Asana, our project management platform, sending weekly project status updates to all clients, participating in weekly team standup meetings, and providing weekly project overview reports to team management. 
  • Proactively monitor project health, ensuring work is delivered on time and within budget. 

Client Collaboration and Relationship Management  

  • Assist with support of Automate for existing clients via HappyFox, our ticketing system, performing troubleshooting, providing guidance related to features/functionality and best practices, executing end-user training, modifying existing configuration, and implementing new configuration as required. 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders to ensure high levels of satisfaction and trust. 

Continuous Improvement  

  • Provide client and internal-driven feedback to the Product and Engineering teams regarding new feature/product requests to help drive future development. 

Qualifications: 

  • Must have a strong desire to learn new skills. Driven by curiosity and a “need to know.” 
  • Good aptitude for business/software systems. 
  • Interest in learning the basics of accounting. 
  • General understanding of accounts payable and the Procure to Pay process. 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. 
  • Strong time management skills. 
  • Strong organizational skills. 
  • Must be comfortable interacting directly with clients, even when unfamiliar with the topics at hand. 
  • Must have an aptitude for building and maintaining strong client relationships, and for managing tense client interactions. 

Technical Skills

  • Must have sharp analytical skills and be able to solve moderately complex problems with assistance from more experienced team members, even when the topics involved are unfamiliar. 
  • Must be able to handle competing priorities effectively with guidance from management. 
  • Should have a keen desire to expand your understanding of automation and accounting software and related business systems.

  • Must prioritize customer service and customer satisfaction. 
  • Should have well-honed business analysis skills.
