Husqvarna is seeking a Social Media Specialist to manage social media accounts for US and Canada. Responsibilities include performing community management across platforms to engage and grow our audience, as well as utilizing social listening tools to monitor, analyze, and report on current trends to inform strategy. You will leverage META features such as polls, stories, and reels to create engaging content that drives brand awareness and fosters audience interaction, while contributing to overall content ideation and creation. Additionally, you will assist in paid social campaigns, collaborating with the Brand Manager on asset trafficking and coordinating with the media agency on campaign setup.
What You Need to Know:
• Perform daily community management across all social media platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, brand marketing and customer care to become the voice of the brand, engaging real-time with consumers on Husqvarna social channels.
• Respond daily to customers reaching out on social media with product issues, questions, or concerns, and direct them to the appropriate team or individual for resolution.
• Manage and maintain the social media content calendar, including content planning, timely scheduling and execution across all platforms.
• Ensure quality assurance of all scheduled social media content to ensure posts are accurate and meet safety standards before deployment.
• Conduct reporting meetings to share insights from social listening, highlighting key trends, audience sentiment, and actionable recommendations.
• Assist in ideation and creation of organic social content, leveraging stories, reels, and viral/popular trends to create engaging and shareable content that resonates with target audiences and aligns with brand objectives.
• Assist the team with influencer marketing programs, including influencer vetting/outreach.
• Keep up with the latest social media trends, emerging platforms, and creative tools, continuously experimenting with new methods to engage and connect with our audience.
• Work with our media agency to manage asset trafficking and support the setup and execution of paid social media campaigns, including crafting headlines, writing descriptions, organizing asset naming, and defining destination URLs.
• Set up and maintain Meta shopping catalogs, ensuring accurate product details, updating existing listings, and adding new products to keep the catalog current and optimized.
What We Are Looking For:
• Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, digital, communications or business related
• 1-3 years’ experience at a brand or media agency managing social media accounts, specifically Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube.
• 1-3 years’ experience with social media monitoring and scheduling tools such as Sprout Social, Emplify, Sprinklr, Hootsuite etc.
• Detail oriented and organized for effective project management
• Enjoys working on several projects simultaneously and can balance priorities and timelines
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills to effectively interact with management, cross-functionally and with agencies
• Paid media experience a plus
• Ability to ideate, create, and post, engaging content (images, videos, reels, stories, infographics, etc.) for social media platforms
