The Social Media & Digital Marketing Specialist develops and executes digital marketing campaigns on multiple CData media platforms to drive website traffic, increase brand awareness, and support sales and marketing initiatives. This role is within the Marketing department and will collaborate closely with the Brand and Communications team to identify needs and deliver innovative, engaging, and on-brand content across social media platforms.

The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of how each social media channel works and how to optimize content so that it is engaging on each channel. They will have the desire and ability to take on new challenges and opportunities to learn. They will be a self-starter who enjoys collaboration, innovative thinking, and is able to work well in a fast-paced environment.

Location(s): North Carolina Research Triangle or East Coast (preferred)

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and execute social media strategies across CData platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube), ensuring brand consistency and audience engagement.
  • Create and manage engaging digital content tailored for different channels and audiences.
  • Work cross-functionally with design, content, and marketing teams to align messaging and campaigns with broader marketing goals.
  • Help set up and optimize webpages on our CMS to support content marketing campaigns.
  • Monitor and respond to audience interactions, fostering engagement and brand loyalty.
  • Stay up to date with social media trends, digital marketing best practices, and emerging technologies to enhance strategy and performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in social media management and digital marketing.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Strong copywriting and content creation skills.
  • Experience working in social media management platform Sprout Social or similar.
  • Experience working in project management tool Asana or similar.
  • Experience working in email marketing tools like Mailchimp, Pardot, or similar preferred.
  • Experience in basic graphic design (Canva) and video editing skills.
  • Basic HTML and CSS knowledge and experience working in CMS systems like Umbraco, or similar preferred.
