JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Senior Manager, FP&A is responsible for all aspects of the Company’s financial planning and reporting for Driven Brands Shared Services (DBSS).  This leader is expected to not only manage team performance but also provide direct hands-on support to various DBSS teams.

The primary responsibilities include partnering with cost center owners on the development of their annual plans, monthly forecasts and weekly updates, and managing their headcount. The Senior Manager, FP&A will report to the Director, FP&A and will manage 2 direct reports.  This position will be the primary point of contact managing all of the day-to-day activities over DBSS.

How you will Own it:

  • Work with cross-functional teams to manage P&L expectations for all of DBSS (offices of the CCO, CEO, CFO, CIO, CLO, CMO and CPO)
  • Manages all aspects of DBSS annual budgeting, long range planning, weekly/monthly forecasting, headcount management, identifying areas for cost savings, etc.
  • Perform various ad-hoc analyses including variance analysis and other requests from corporate or senior management
  • Leverage reporting tools to design, and develop, KPI’s and dashboards
  • Drive simplification, organization, and standardization across the FP&A DBSS team
  • Hire, train and develop a high-performing FP&A team
  • Comfortable leading by example acting as a “Working Leader” managing daily operations for the CIO, CPO, and CMO teams, while being able to train, mentor and direct the work of other team members

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Business, Accounting or Finance, preferred)
  • Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work well with people across multiple functions
  • Able to articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A “doer” and not just a “strategist”

Required Experience:

  • 7+ years of experience with a background that includes accounting and financial analysis
  • Experience building financial models to support planning & forecasting and ROI analysis
  • Proven ability of proactively identifying areas of improvement and executing on those
  • Proven ability to lead and under minimal supervision
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Experienced at creating executive level reporting and presenting to an executive audience

Added Fuel if you have:

  • FMVA certification
  • Experience with ERP/ERM tools (Oracle, SmartView, Workday)
  • Experience partnering with shared services functions to manage their financial & headcount targets
  • Prior people (direct or indirect), and project, leadership experience
