Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Institutional Investment Operations Specialist within the Client Services team as a part of Corporate Investment Banking Operations. Learn more about the career areas and business divisions at wellsfargojobs.com .
The Client Services team in CIB Operations Core Services is responsible for supporting internal and external customers by providing moderate to complex support services in account management, operations, documentation, and customer service. The Operations Core Services team is a cross-functional group of teams that provides support for reference data as well as the broader Wells Fargo organization. The Core Services organization aims to be the owners and stewards of both client and product data with a focus on operational excellence and superior client servicing.
In this role, you will:
  • Lead complex client service initiatives and process improvement efforts
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for client service and trade lifecycle activities, ensuring compliance with policies and regulatory requirements
  • Partner with Sales & Trading, Technology, Risk, Compliance, Finance, and Operations teams to resolve client and operational issues
  • Analyze and resolve complex client, trade, and service-related issues to enhance the client experience and mitigate risk
  • Support strategic initiatives by performing data analysis, identifying root causes, and driving issue resolution
  • Contribute to process enhancements, system implementations, and regulatory change initiatives impacting client service
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive collaboration and achieve service objectives
  • Apply sound judgment in addressing complex client service, operational, risk, and compliance matters
Required Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of Institutional Investment Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of securities operations, including trade settlement, reconciliations, and collateral/pledging processes
  • Ability to partner with clients and cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues, negotiate solutions, and improve client outcomes
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively engage internal and external clients and convey complex information clearly
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and drive resolution
  • Experience presenting findings, recommendations, and process updates to stakeholders and business partners
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong coordination and facilitation skills with a focus on execution and follow-through
  • Experience collaborating with global stakeholders across onshore and offshore teams
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Intermediate AI, technology, and citizen developer skills
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills with a focus on accuracy and risk management
