The opportunity

FP&A at BSS is being rebuilt as the analytical engine of the business — owning the budget, the forecast and the long-range plan, and establishing business cases as the common language for every investment decision we make. You will be a core part of that build, with direct exposure to the CFO, the executive team and our investors.

The role is a business partner first and a modeler second. You will sit with operating leaders, understand what drives their P&L and working capital, and bring that back into forecasts and investment analysis that leadership can act on. Strong performers here grow into FP&A leadership.

What you'll do

Budgeting and forecasting

• Build and own driver-based models for the annual budget and rolling forecast across business units, brands and the consolidated company.

• Lead variance analysis against budget, forecast and prior year; explain what happened and what to do about it, not just what the number is.

• Produce the monthly business review package for leadership and investor reporting, with the bridges and KPIs that show how the business is actually performing.

Long-term planning and strategy

• Support the three- to five-year plan and value creation initiatives: organic growth, pricing, margin, working capital and the contribution of acquired businesses once they are in the numbers.

• Model scenarios for leadership and investor discussions and help translate strategy into targets and scorecards.

Business case and investment analysis

• Own the business case framework: build and review cases for new initiatives, capital projects and operating investments using discounted cash flow, IRR, NPV and payback.

• Run post-investment reviews so the organization learns what worked and what did not.

• Set the standard for how a business case is built here, and hold it.

Business partnering

• Partner with operating leaders across the business: performance reviews, scorecard support, controllable versus allocated results, and working-capital discipline.

• Translate financial results into operating language and operating questions into financial analysis.

Process, systems and automation

• Reduce spreadsheet sprawl: standardize models, build reusable templates, and move reporting into Power BI and the Dynamics 365 data environment as it matures.

• Partner with the Finance Systems team on planning-tool evaluation and the reporting layer of the new ERP.

• Look continuously for faster, more automated ways to produce the same or better insight.

First-year priorities

1. Deliver the 2027 budget and establish the forecast cadence on a reliable calendar.

2. Stand up the business case framework and templates, with Finance ownership of the analysis on every major 2027 initiative.

3. Build the driver-based model and bridges that underpin the monthly business review.

4. Become the person operating leaders call when they need a number explained or a decision modeled.

5. Automate the recurring monthly reporting pack.

Qualifications

What you bring

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.

• 4–7 years in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, transaction advisory or a similar analytical role.

• Demonstrated budgeting and forecasting ownership in an operating company, including driver-based modeling.

• Fluency in discounted cash flow, IRR, NPV and investment-case construction.

• Strong communicator who can present analysis to operating leaders and executives and hold a point of view.

• Advanced Excel; disciplined model builder.

Preferred

• MBA, CFA or equivalent.

• Experience supporting long-range planning, strategy or a value creation plan.

• Private-equity-backed company experience; support of a transaction process a plus.

• Distribution, multi-site or multi-brand business experience.

• Power BI, a planning tool (Adaptive, Planful, Vena, Anaplan or similar) and Microsoft Dynamics 365 reporting.

Who thrives here

We hire people who are customer-obsessed, act as one team across every brand, are growth-minded, entrepreneurial and urgent — the values every BSS employee shares. On the Finance team specifically, we look for builders: driven, intellectually curious people who are competitive, work hard and are motivated by challenge, growth and winning. They take ownership, roll up their sleeves, contest the status quo and keep looking for a better way to operate. They are confident team players who communicate clearly, develop the people around them and thrive in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment. If you are energized by improving an organization rather than maintaining one — and your ambitions run well past this role — you will fit here.

How success is measured

Forecast accuracy and a budget process that runs on time; business cases that are consistent, rigorous and trusted by leadership and investors; operating leaders who seek out their finance partner; and a reporting process that gets faster and more automated every quarter.
