Embark on a journey of change with MAS, by joining the Active team as a Senior Executive Operations Operations! This role would enable you to ensure the availability of fabric, accessories and embellishments, monitoring the issuance of same with regard to aspects such as quantity, quality and on-time delivery whilst, addressing issues, bottlenecks including those in areas such as SAP, Brand Protection, Finished Goods and Stores thereby, facilitating uninterrupted operations  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Participate at weekly planning meetings in order to ensure all accessories and raw material are made available in the required quantities and qualities in order to run the weekly frozen plan whilst, making necessary amendments to the plan considering delivery dates, efficiencies, sold hour targets.
  • Follow-up on the weekly RM availability with the aid of the RM stability report and proactively address deviations with respective personal.
  • Check the RM pull plan to ensure that RM requirements for the daily cut plan is called out in a timely manner whilst, ensuring RM DTD is maintained within the stipulated levels.
  • Evaluate root causes pertaining to the PTP progress whilst, taking necessary steps to ensure and support the achievement of PTP targets.
  • Check embellishment and special requirements of the planned styles, coordinate with embellishment teams to secure embellishment capacities whilst, monitoring the embellishment loading plan and output plan in order to provide an uninterrupted input flow to production.
  • Check the monthly shipment schedule to ensure monthly sales targets are achieved, in the event of any deviations look for possible shipment advances and coordinate with relevant parties to ensure the update of same.
  • Manage factory information and the internal SAP team in order to ensure all plant performance indicators are maintained in an orderly and accurate manner, thereby ensuring system accuracy.
  • Oversee and ensure stores operations such as system and stock accuracy, timely delivery of RM to the production process and supplier integration take place in an accurate and effective manner thereby, supporting an efficient operations process.
  • Liaise and work with the Business Division, Suppliers and Columbia buyers to solve RM quality issues by supporting the Fabric Inspection and Quality team to ensure and develop raw material as per the required quality levels
  • Discuss the production plan with the relevant suppliers and prioritize the planned schedule (Styles) based on fabric availability in order to minimize production delays. Check the purchase orders as per the SAP database for accessories such as threads, cartons, poly bags, hangers, labels etc. and order same from suppliers in order to ensure the availability of accessories for production. 

  • Resolve matters pertaining to Production, RM and Consumption together with the inputs of the Business Decision. Prepare weekly RM pull report based on the production plan and advise the RM pull details to suppliers to get those on time.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • Degree or Diploma in Textile Engineering
  • 3 - 4 years of work experience
  • Decision Making and Problem‐Solving 
  • Good Communication Skills
