Akamai's Enterprise Security Group provides Zero Trust solutions for secure IT environments. These solutions handle legacy/SaaS apps and work for on-premises/cloud systems. Akamai leverages customer data to implement a secure Zero Trust model. Additionally, Akamai's global expertise can help customers identify and limit threats during an attack.

Partner with the best

You will be part of a Team with domain knowledge of digital business, infrastructure and application access. You will collaborate with the wider Akamai team and channel partners to pursue and generate sales opportunities. You will demonstrate a high level of leadership with our customers and Akamai sales teams.

As an Enterprise Sales Executive Senior New and Existing Accounts, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading the Enterprise Security agenda internally and externally.
  • Operating in a matrixed organization to leverage internal and external resources toward a common goal.
  • Maintaining domain expertise (infrastructure, applications, networking, or security) to change the status quo and sell to executives.
  • Developing sustainable and qualified pipeline growth.
  • Delivering accurate and reliable forecasts.

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have 8 years of relevant experience and a bachelor's degree or its equivalent.
  • Possess direct sales experience.
  • Have C level access and engagement.
  • Have built a channel strategy.
  • Be able to lead within a matrixed organization.
  • Have experience with any of the following: Micro-Segmentation, Firewall, Data Center Technology, Zero Trust Security.
  • Possess excellent communication and presentation skills.

Compensation

Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For US based candidates only - The On Target Earnings (OTE, base salary + commissions) for this position ranges from $208,600 - $375,400/year; a candidate’s OTE is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. Compensation for candidates outside the US will vary. The compensation package may also include equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP). Akamai provides industry-leading benefits including healthcare, 401K savings plan, company holidays, vacation (in the form of PTO), sick time, family friendly benefits including parental leave and an employee assistance program including a focus on mental and financial wellness; Eligibility requirements apply.
