Job Summary:

Trimont is seeking a Senior Director, Software Engineer in our team that supports technology for our Commercial Mortgage Servicing group. The ideal candidate will be responsible for full stack design and development by following engineering best practices. The Lead Software Engineer will help enhance, build, and deliver frameworks and business application micro services.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead large scale, multidimensional technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact
  • Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large-scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
  • Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors
  • Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals
  • Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor
  • Drive operational improvements to increase service delivery efficiency and business partner satisfaction
  • Understand and assure quality, security, and compliance requirements are met
  • Participate in daily scrum activities
  • Provide leadership with technical solutions to complex problems keeping performance and security in mind.
  • Engage in Incident/Problem Management including incident triage and root cause analysis
  • Participate in Business Continuity Planning (BCP) activities
  • Navigate through the nuances of a technology delivery and ensure deliverables are met

Required Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree or higher
  • 9+ years of Software Engineering experience, demonstrated through work experience
  • 3+ years of experience leading a team of direct reports
  • 5+ years of experience in C#, Web Forms, .NET, .NET Framework, .NET Core
  • 5+ years of developing Representational State Transfer (REST) Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) for building services
  • 5+ years of experience in writing relational database queries
  • 5+ years of experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile tools such as JIRA, GitHub, Jenkins, Confluence etc.
  • 5+ years of experience in application & data architecture and solution design
  • 5+ Experience with scripting languages such as ReactJS, Javascript
  • 3+ years of experience with Agile in a development environment
  • 3+ years working in Azure Public Cloud Platform
  • 3+ years using Structured Query Language (SQL) Server or Oracle Database (DB)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are crucial
  • Demonstrated capacity to achieve results in a dynamic setting.
  • Organizational and administrative skills that reflect attention to detail and the ability to prioritize efficiently.
  • Skilled in managing sensitive information while upholding privacy.
  • Handling workload and special projects efficiently.
