Your Impact
The Associate Marketer of Category Marketing will work with Merchandising to build and deliver category messaging plans. This position will support the development of differentiating messaging for prioritized Homeowner and Pro customer segments by leveraging consumer insights and a deep understanding of the competitive landscape. The Associate Marketer of Category will serve as a COE for an assigned business division(s) and serve as a single point of contact for key leaders within the marketing, merchandising and operations organizations. This position is responsible for consistent messaging across all customer facing touch points instore and online. Largely, the Associate Marketer is responsible for maintaining all necessary planning and execution artifacts for their respective category. This position has to know how to best represent the work with key stakeholders - especially merchandising and internal marketing partners.
What You Will Do
  • Build category messaging strategies with merchants and other key stakeholders, based on a strong understanding of customer value, economics and competitive actions. Ensures consistent delivery across all customer facing touch points instore and online.
  • Partner with Category Manager to analyze/interpret data to draw clear, actionable conclusions that influence program development and create growth supported by fact-based business cases in partnership with Merchandising.
  • Lead the development of the category library and serves as the integrator across marketing and broader organization.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ID product launches, product growth opportunities and priority items lists for Homeowner and Pro.
  • Execute marketing of promotional plans with pricing partners and merchants, based on strong understanding of customer value, economics and competitive actions and execute across channels.
  • Ensure clear, concise and consistent messaging across all customer touch points.
  • Analyze, monitor, and report on the impact of strategies against goals and objectives both quarterly in partnership with category manager.
  • Speak to vendor and Lowe's Media Network (LMN) plans and ensures that this work is represented in calendars and the category library.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree Marketing, Digital, E-Commerce or relevant field or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable or equivalent experience
  • 5 Years Marketing experience
  • 1 Year Running a P&L or working alongside P&L owners
  • 1 Year Leadership experience, preferably in Agile cross-functional teams
  • 1 Year Working cross-functionally

Preferred Skills/Experience
  • Experience leading customer marketing at a retailer
