Job DescriptionExpected Responsibilities:
- Write Requirements documents, Functional Requirements documents
- Actively participate in software design/grooming sessions
- Lead/partner quality assurance efforts - system, integration and user acceptance testing - to ensure that business requirements are achieved successfully
- Review test cases/test plans
- Mine for data in OMNI Plus platform, to support testing – developer and QA testing
- Write Requirements in features and user-story formats, for Agile projects
Targeted Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent knowledge of retirement industry: Defined-Contributions/Defined-Benefits, 401 (k), 403 (b), Annuities, Plan set up, Trade Confirmations/10b-10
- Excellent working knowledge of OMNI Plus for record-keeping practices
- Working knowledge of regulatory/compliance requirements for annuities/retirement business
- Excellent experience writing Requirements documents and/or Functional Requirements
- Strong requirements management skills - including eliciting, gathering, organizing and documenting requirements
- Ability to diagram and analyze complex business processes involving multiple teams
- Excellent working knowledge of SDLC practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong data analysis, and process analysis skills
- Basic project management skills - running meetings, preparing agendas, providing meeting minutes, tracking progress, etc.
- Excellent communication skills -both written & verbal
- Excellent partnership skills and ability to develop effective working relationships with various people in business, operations and IT development teams
- Must be detail oriented
- Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Ability to multi-task effectively across several projects and assignments
Suggested Experience & Qualifications:
- 7-10 years of relevant industry experience
- 4-6 years of experience with OMNI products, specifically OMNI Plus
- Exposure to databases/logical data organization a big plus
- Exposure to Rational Team Concert/Requirements Composer, JIRA, Caliber etc. a big plus
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology a big plus
- Exposure and ability to read OMNI Script a big plus
