Summary

The Semiconductor Process Engineer is responsible for developing, sustaining, and improving manufacturing processes to meet yield, quality, and cycle‑time objectives. This position partners closely with Equipment Engineering, Manufacturing, and Integration teams to support advanced technology nodes and high‑volume semiconductor production.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, sustain, and improve semiconductor processes across assigned fab areas.

  • Monitor process performance using SPC, yield metrics, and data analysis tools.

  • Trouble-shoot process issues and drive root‑cause corrective actions.

  • Support process qualifications, experiments, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Partner with equipment engineers to align tool capability with process requirements.

  • Document process changes, specifications, and operational procedures.

  • Support production ramp, technology transitions, and yield improvement activities.

  • Ensure processes align with safety, environmental, and quality requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Engineering or other related degree

  • 3+ years of experience working as a Process Engineer in the semiconductor industry

  • Proven analytical and data‑driven problem‑solving skills with experience collaborating across engineering and manufacturing organizations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in semiconductor process areas such as Wet Etch, Dry Etch, Lithography, Diffusion, or Implant, etc.

  • Familiarity with DOE, SPC, yield analysis, or advanced manufacturing methodologies.

  • Experience supporting technology ramps or high‑volume manufacturing environments.
