Maintain thin film processes by supporting manufacturing and growing equipment up time while ensuring product quality. Maximize yield by working on tools, the process, or wafer fabrication recipes. Respond to production issues, implement solutions, reduce costs, and improve yields. Support and supervise the performance of tools by using statistical process controls and data analysis. Identify and resolve defect and tool issues. Communicate procedural changes to engineers and productions personnel. Collaborate with other process areas to understand and control process deviations. Evaluate products to ensure they meet the required design and performance specifications. Conduct research to assess process adjustment requirements and recommend process improvements or equipment changes needed to efficiently manufacture new product or part types. Establish and improve process condition and technology. Set up process parameters for a variety of semiconductor equipment. Position requires up to 20% domestic and international travel.

Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or a related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a process engineer-related occupation. Position requires:

1. Design of Experiments using JMP

2. Characterization techniques: SEM, EDX, and TEM

3. DRAM traveler flow and structure 

4. Crafting valid tests and SWR’s

5. Low Pressure Chemical Vapor Deposition processes, Plasma Enhanced Chemical Vapor Deposition processes on Applied Materials, LAM and TEL tools

6. Thin Films equipment: AMAT and LAM CVD
