Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

the Quality Documentation Specialist is the dedicated resource for all customer-facing documentation assembly. This role compiles data packs from completed ProShop records, generates CofCs, and coordinates FAI package collection and routing. It does not create records — it assembles and routes them. Note: This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR); U.S. person status is required.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Assemble customer shipment data packages from completed ProShop records: compile CofC, material certifications, dimensional inspection records, special process certs, and packing slip
  • Generate Certificates of Conformance in ProShop for all outgoing shipments; route to Lead Inspector for sign-off
  • Own FAI package coordination as R/A: collect all FAI elements (dimensional data from CMM Programmer, material certs, special process certs, balloon print from QE — Quality Planning), route complete package to the responsible modality QE for engineering sign-off disposition
  • Track FAI package status to closure — flag incomplete elements and escalate to the responsible QE or Lead Inspector
  • Maintain data pack completeness standard: ensure every package that goes to the Lead Inspector for sign-off contains all required customer-specified documentation
  • Coordinate with the Lead Inspector on data pack timing relative to shipment schedule
  • Support customer source inspection visits by providing records access and package preparation
  • Work within ProShop to ensure all records referenced in data packs are correctly linked and complete
