About Us
Udacity is on a mission of forging futures in tech through radical talent transformation in digital technologies. We offer a unique and immersive online learning platform, powering corporate technical training in fields such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Autonomous Systems, Cloud Computing and more. Our rapidly growing global organization is revolutionizing how the enterprise market bridges the talent shortage and skills gaps during their digital transformation journey.
We’re seeking an innovative Product Manager for our Content Platform to reimagine how Udacity creates, launches and maintains learning content at scale.
In this role, you’ll lead the development of the content platform that powers every step of our content lifecycle: from authoring to program assembly, publishing, and in-classroom delivery. You’ll work closely with our content developers, external authors and engineers to build an intuitive, AI-enhanced platform that makes creating high-quality, personalized, and globally scalable learning content faster, easier, and smarter.
This is a deeply technical and impact-driven platform role: you'll design and enable intelligent workflows that embed AI and automation into every step, to rapidly develop the building blocks that make up our programs. Think: AI-assisted slide creation, smart authoring Copilot, and integrations with leading AI video software. You will also drive development of Workspaces, Udacity’s embedded coding environments, troubleshooting learner-facing issues that can be product, platform or code file related, and proposing innovative solutions to enable learners to unblock themselves self-service.
Your work will directly shape how our internal teams operate and how fast we can build and adapt content to meet the needs of learners and enterprise clients. If you thrive at the intersection of AI and creative tooling, and you get excited about designing platforms that empower others to do their best work—this is your chance to lead from the center of Udacity’s content transformation.
What You’ll Do
- Support the development of Udacity’s content platform by contributing to the planning and execution of product features that empower content teams.
- Work on AI-powered enhancements to improve author workflows—such as generating slides, summarizing transcripts, and creating content snippets using generative AI tools.
- Collaborate closely with curriculum designers, content authors, engineers, and AI teams to help build and refine user-friendly tools that increase efficiency and content quality.
- Explore new content formats and assist in prototyping interactive learning experiences that help learners achieve better outcomes.
- Track and report key platform metrics, like how long it takes to publish content, how often materials get reused, and how authors rate their experience with the tools.
- Translate feedback and product goals into clear requirements, working with engineering to ensure smooth implementation.
- Conduct user research and usability testing with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and help improve the content creation experience.
Required:
- 3+ years of product management experience, ideally in platform or internal tooling roles.
- Strong communication skills - ability turn ambiguity into clarity, influence without authority, and challenge the status quo in a way that feels collaborative
- Strong technical background with experience building software products - should feel comfortable talking shop with engineers
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with design, engineering, data and program management teams.
- Data-driven mindset - comfortable with analytics, experiment design, and KPIs.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, high-impact environment with a strong sense of ownership.
Nice-to-have:
- Strong foundational understanding of Generative AI and experience developing AI products/features
- Proven track record of building successful tools or services used by internal teams (CMS, LMS, content platforms, authoring tools a bonus).
- Experience working in education, learning tech, or enterprise B2B platforms is a big advantage.
- Experience embedding or collaborating on AI-powered authoring or productivity tools is a bonus.

Don’t stop there! Please keep reading...
You’ve probably heard the following statistic: Most male applicants only meet 60% of the qualifications, while women and other marginalized candidates only apply if they meet 100% of the qualifications. If you think you have what it takes but don’t meet every single point in the job description, please apply!
We believe that historically, many processes disproportionately hurt the most marginalized communities in society- including people of color, working-class backgrounds, women and LGBTQ people. Centering these communities at our core is pivotal for any successful organization and a value we uphold steadfastly. Therefore, Udacity strongly encourages applications from all communities and backgrounds.
Udacity is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity employer. Please read our blog post for “6 Reasons Why Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace Exists”
Last, but certainly not least…
Udacity is committed to creating economic empowerment and a more diverse and equitable world. We believe that the unique contributions of all Udacians is the driver of our success. To ensure that our products and culture continue to incorporate everyone’s perspectives and experience we never discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, marital status, national origin, ancestry, disability, medical condition (including genetic information), age, veteran status or military status, or any other basis protected by federal, state or local laws.
As part of our ongoing work to build more diverse teams at Udacity, when applying, you will be asked to complete a voluntary self-identification survey. This survey is anonymous, we are unable to connect your application with your survey responses. Please complete this voluntary survey as we utilize the data for diversity measures in terms of gender and ethnic background in both our candidates and our Udacians. We consider this data seriously and appreciate your willingness to complete this step in the process, if you choose to do so.
