As an Experienced Product Design Lead (UX/UI) at Marsh McLennan, you will be a key leader in driving design strategy and execution across our digital products. You will lead a talented team of designers and collaborate across multiple functions to create user-centered, innovative design solutions that solve business challenges and elevate our design practice.
Product Design Lead (UX/UI)
We will count on you to:
Collaborate with technology, product, marketing, editorial, and business teams to uncover user and business needs, translating them into engaging, simple, and intuitive design solutions.
Advocate for the end user through human-centered design methods including discovery, research, whiteboard sessions, and user testing.
Lead strategic planning, exploration, design, and build of projects using strategy frameworks, user flows, wireframes, and prototypes, driving alignment and decision-making.
Build and develop a high-performing design team, fostering a collaborative culture that encourages creativity, research, and design excellence.
Ensure UI/UX efforts align with product roadmaps and timelines, effectively communicating design decisions and strategy to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Develop and maintain a cohesive design system that ensures consistency across digital products and aligns with brand principles.
What you need to have:
8+ years of experience in UX/UI or product design with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse design skills and styles.
Proven success creating world-class digital experiences that drive business success and elevate design maturity.
Excellent presentation, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts and influence at all organizational levels.
Experience managing external agencies and cross-functional teams.
Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, and/or Figma.
Strong understanding of front-end technologies (HTML/CSS, JavaScript) and their impact on design implementation.
Familiarity with user testing tools (UserTesting, Hotjar, Google Analytics) and agile product development methodologies.
Ability to interpret user research and data to inform design decisions.
Bachelor’s degree in design, human-computer interaction, or a related field preferred.
