Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for Microsoft Office 365 and Exchange on-premise in multi-site, multi-tenant, multi-domain, and global messaging environments
- Provide day-to-day monitoring, troubleshooting, and support of e-mail infrastructure
- Automation through PowerShell scripting
- Identify and streamline existing processes
- Monitor and respond to issues or user service requests reported by the Service Desk, and create and resolve problem tickets
- Enhance procedures for routine Exchange server maintenance/operations tasks
- Troubleshoot issues, working in collaboration with other relevant IT areas and vendor support towards a quick and effective resolution
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
Required:
- 2+ years of enterprise messaging leveraging Microsoft technologies
- 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Office 365 and/or Exchange Hybrid
- Ability to provide 2nd/3rd level support
- Experience in large-scale messaging environments
- Excellent written, communication, and analytical skills
- Customer service orientation and strong teamwork mindset
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science (or related discipline)
- Knowledge of Azure Databricks & OpenBlue Employee Resource Scheduler
- 2+ years of work experience in Microsoft Exchange, Email Security, DNS, and Active Directory
- 2+ years of work experience with scripting with PowerShell, VB, .net or scripting for Identity Management/Directory Sync.
- Experience with Proofpoint and/or Cisco Email Security perimeter security appliances is a plus
- Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer: Exchange Office
