We are seeking a strategic, data-driven Marketing Operations Manager to support and scale our global demand generation engine. Alongside the Marketing Operations Director, this role will serve as an operational backbone for the marketing organization, partnering closely with operations teams to optimize lead management, campaign execution, funnel performance, and marketing attribution.
The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in marketing automation, CRM processes, lead lifecycle management, and marketing analytics, with a strong understanding of how these capabilities work together to support an effective marketing organization.
This role is well suited for someone who enjoys building scalable systems, improving processes, and using data to drive operational excellence and more predictable pipeline growth within a high-growth B2B software environment.
What will you be doing?
- Demand Generation Operations
- Partner with Demand Generation team to execute, optimize, and scale integrated marketing campaigns across digital, webinar, event, content syndication, and ABM channels.
- Build and manage campaign workflows, audience segmentation, nurture programs, and automation processes.
- Maintain campaign governance, quality assurance standards, and operational best practices.
- Monitor campaign performance and provide actionable insights to improve pipeline generation and conversion rates.
- Partner closely with operations to support organizational changes, territory realignments, and go-to-market initiatives through scalable routing and assignment strategies/processes using LeanData. Marketing Automation & Martech Management
- Support the administration and optimization of Marketo, Marketo Measure, and related marketing technologies.
- Support governance, standardization, integrations, and data synchronization.
- Develop scalable program templates, tokens, operational workflows, and reporting frameworks.
- Partner with the Marketing Operation Director to evaluate and implement new marketing technologies and AI-powered workflows that streamline campaign execution, reporting, and operational processes. Operations Alignment
- Work closely with operations to align marketing and sales processes, reporting, and funnel definitions.
- Optimize lead scoring, qualification, routing, lifecycle stages, and service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Ensure seamless handoff of leads between Marketing, SDRs, and Sales.
- Understand Marketo Measure attribution and how marketing contribution to pipeline, bookings, and revenue.
- Analyze funnel performance, channel performance, campaign ROI, conversion rates, velocity metrics, and attribution data. Data Management & Governance
- Maintain high standards for data quality, compliance, segmentation, and database health.
- Partner with Operations and Data & Analytics to establish data governance policies and operational standards.
- Support deduplication, enrichment, normalization, and data hygiene initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and other applicable privacy regulations. Process Optimization & Scale
- Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Document workflows, system architecture, and operational procedures.
- Cross-functional projects focused on improving marketing effectiveness and revenue generation.
- Collaborate on initiatives that leverage AI to improve forecasting, pipeline visibility, and revenue performance.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in Marketing Operations, Demand Generation, Operations, or a related role within a B2B software organization.
- Advanced expertise with Marketo, including administration, campaign operations, lead lifecycle management, and reporting.
- Strong Salesforce CRM experience, including lead, contact, account, opportunity, and campaign management.
- Deep understanding of demand generation programs and marketing funnel metrics.
- Hands-on experience with LeanData, including lead routing, account matching, territory assignment, and workflow optimization.
- Experience supporting complex sales organizations with multiple territories, segments, and routing requirements.
- Strong understanding of B2B software lead management best practices and opportunity lifecycle processes.
- Data quality, database health metrics, and data integrations experience.
- Familiarity with attribution platforms such as Marketo Measure and revenue intelligence tools.
- Demonstrated experience leveraging AI tools, automation platforms, or advanced analytics solutions to improve marketing performance, operational efficiency, or decision-making.
- Experience partnering directly with Marketing and Sales leadership.
